So far, reading somewhat between the lines, we have this:
DT seems "off kilter". "Loopy".
Her family despised her and her father disowned her.
She has a tendency towards keeping bad company, took her clothes off for a seedy men's magazine, possibly involved in some corrupt financial situations involving the exploitation of her sister's celebrity status.
She was 17 and was hanging around the Cielo scene.
Polanski is known to have a thing for getting underage girls boozed/drugged up and having sex with them, re his conviction in California.
There were films in the house of persons having sex. No one to my knowledge has catalogued exactly what these were.
Sharon may have been on the outs with Polanski.
Helter Skelter is at best an incomplete theory, at worst a fabrication.
And now, perhaps there were connections between DT and some of the low lifes hanging around, such as the infamous "Pic" Dawson, etc?
I'm very much not convinced that there is anything in the way of a breakthrough in any of these lines of investigation, but of course there are a lot of acknowledged incomplete threads in this investigation, so keep on truckin'. -

I have no allegience to Debra Tate, maybe I am naive and don't really get her, but these are really wild connections you seem to be making. Debra was a teenager, a kid, practically a baby, when her sister was plowed down by Tex Watson.
You are barking up the wrong tree. Debra was not at all involved with the people who took her sister's life. Jesus, Tate is not without her critics but at the very least the woman deserves to not be implicated in this shit. -

Again, I don't know any of the people being discussed, but the image of some crazy person pulling the shades down in her apartment, dressing in a bikini bra and panties with a long blonde wig and reciting lines to no one in particular like "I just want to have my baby!" made me almost piss my pants.
Maybe I'm a sick person for finding that image both shocking and humorous at the same time (NOT the image of the REAL Sharon - that would not be funny at all - , but the image of a wannabe impersonator getting their kicks that way). Sounds like something out of a John Waters movie.
