Nobody Owns Christopher Jones

None of this is exactly NEW information but here's an article from August 30 2007. Did any of you see it?

The final affair of Roman Polanski's murdered wife Sharon Tate
by LINA DAS

A new book on Roman Polanski's tumultuous life missed a final secret. Here, the man who was his wife's lover in the months before her bizarre murder tells his story for the first time

She was the wife of director Roman Polanski, a star of the cult movie Valley Of The Dolls, and with her flawless blonde looks was lauded as one of the great beauties of her time, but even to this day the actress Sharon Tate is remembered primarily for the horrific manner of her death.

On August 9, 1969, while at home with friends, Tate was murdered by the followers of Charles Manson's gang in Los Angeles.

Tate was eight months pregnant with Polanski's baby at the time, and yet her attackers paid little heed, stabbing her 16 times and murdering the four friends who were with her - Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger, Steven Parent and Voyteck Frykowski.

It was a night of inexplicable horror and sent reverberations not only through the Hollywood community, but throughout the world.

The events have been endlessly discussed, even by Roman Polanski, who finds himself the subject of yet another biography - Polanski by Christopher Sandford - to be published next week.

But throughout all this, there has been one aspect of Sharon Tate's story of which even Polanski has not been fully aware - her relationship with the actor Christopher Jones.

Most famous for his role as Major Randolph Doryan in David Lean's epic, Ryan's Daughter, Jones embarked on an affair with Tate when she was six weeks pregnant with Polanski's child and has not, until now, spoken fully of their relationship.

He says: "I loved Sharon and she loved me.

"I don't think I'm betraying any confidence by talking about it.

"I knew that she was married to Roman and I had no intention of splitting them up.

"I don't feel guilty."

Now aged 66, Christopher has retained his looks, although it is clear that the intervening years haven't always been kind to him.

We meet in the dimly lit environs of Nic's Restaurant in Beverly Hills. Slightly built, a touch gaunt of face and softly spoken, he chats openly but doesn't eat or drink throughout the twohour meeting (the reason why becoming apparent only towards the end).

He has managed to cram an awful lot into his life, including a marriage to actress Susan Strasberg (daughter of acting coach, Lee Strasberg), countless lovers (including actresses Olivia Hussey and Susan George, "who came up to my apartment when I was staying in London and the next day moved her toothbrush in, so I had to say, no way!"), seven children and a couple of brushes with death.

That he is still here to tell the tale is a testimony to his powers of survival.

When he was cast to star in Ryan's Daughter, Jones was already being heralded as the new James Dean after his role in the cult movie Wild In The Streets opposite Shelley Winters.

There was a huge buzz surrounding him - a factor which partly explains why so American an actor (Jones was born in Tennessee) should have been chosen to play so English a role, in the shape of Major Doryan.

Set in Ireland's Dingle Peninsula, the story follows Rosy (Sarah Miles), the wife of schoolmaster Charles Shaughnessy (Robert Mitchum), who has an affair with the dashing English officer Doryan, who arrives to take command of the local Army base.

The affair has tragic consequences for Doryan, a veteran of World War I who is suffering from shell shock, and it was Ryan's Daughter which brought Jones to the attention of the British cinema-going public at large.

More pertinently though, it was while Jones was in Ireland during the year-long filming schedule that he received the news of his former lover Sharon Tate's murder.

After filming on Ryan's Daughter was completed, Jones gave up acting for 26 years.

One wonders why he chooses to talk of Tate now.

He insists it is "partly because I want to see if God strikes me dead for talking about it.

"I loved

being with her. Other women I've been with, I couldn't remember if my life depended on it, but she stuck in my mind."

The couple started their affair in Rome in 1969 while Jones was filming the movie Brief Season with his then lover, actress Pia Degermark. Tate, who was flying out to Rome with her friend, Jones's manager Rudy, had by then been married to Roman for a year.

Polanski, the Paris-born director of horror film Rosemary's Baby, was brilliant and troubled (his mother had died in a Polish concentration camp) and he later gained a reputation for controversy when he was convicted of the statutory rape of a 13-year- old girl in 1977.

But in March 1969, "Sharon arrived in Rome with my manager," says Jones, "and so we all arranged to go out to dinner that night. We were on the patio, waiting for Sharon, when suddenly she appeared.

"She looked amazing.

"We sat next to each other and she was very nervous, almost like a deer, but she had this beautiful, perfect face. She had this little scar on the left of her face against all this perfection, and when I reached over to touch it, I could feel her react.

"She kept talking about off-the-wall spiritual things - she talked about reincarnation and how in a previous life she had died in a fire aged nine.

"The second she said that, the doors to the restaurant blew open even though there wasn't any wind, and she looked really shocked."

Scroll down for more...

But he adds: "I wasn't planning on anything because I knew she was married to Roman."

Later that evening however, Jones found himself in Tate's room.

"We were sitting on the couch talking when I finally asked her where Roman was. She said he was stuck in London having trouble with his passport.

"We were talking and getting closer, and although her skirt was riding right up, she wasn't bothering to pull it down.

"She then said: 'Chris, have you ever smoked opium?' and I told her no, and she said I had to try it and that she had some in the bedroom.

"Everyone says that Sharon didn't smoke pot, yet she was definitely looking for this bag, but couldn't find it so came back over to me, standing by the bed.

"One minute she was looking at me and the next thing I knew, she was pulling me on top of her on to the bed.

"I hadn't even taken my clothes off but after we'd made love I told her I was going upstairs to sleep. She asked me to stay, but when I looked out the window I couldn't see a fire escape and my first thought then was: 'What if Polanski comes back?'.

"I wasn't afraid of him, just worried about the repercussions, but she stopped asking me to stay and I left.

"The next day I ran into actress Nathalie Delon (wife of actor Alain Delon) who was a friend of Sharon's and whom I had also been seeing, and she said: 'Chris, what did you do to Sharon? She has never been so in love.'

"Yes, I knew Sharon was pregnant and of course I felt guilty about that, but I've thought about this a lot since and the marriage vows say: 'What God joins together, let no man put asunder.'

"Well, God obviously separated them and put me there."

Jones and Tate continued to see each other, and although he might have been infatuated with Tate, it didn't stop him conducting simultaneous affairs with Pia Degermark and his former wife Susan.

"They all knew about each other.

"Well, maybe Susan didn't know about Sharon, but I had a little too much on my plate, and even that wasn't enough.

"One night, we were out at dinner and there was an Italian girl there. All I can say is that I was young, had a high libido and no conscience, and I just wanted to figure out a way for my manager to take Sharon back to the hotel so I could see the Italian girl.

"After I'd been with her, I came back to the hotel and tried Sharon's door which was open.

"I thought she was going to be mad at me but she didn't say anything, and after we'd made love, she whispered in my ear: 'That was the wrong way.'

"That stuck in my mind because the way we made love wasn't gentle, it was lustful, and although she wanted it to be more romantic, I wasn't feeling romantic.

"I felt that she was a woman I'd been living with for a while, whom you sneak back in on in the middle of the night.

"She didn't seem the least bit concerned about Roman, so either I was irresistible or she must have been unhappy. Although she seemed very happy that she was pregnant.

"I worried professionally in case I might have to work with Roman in the future.

"There was probably some guilt on my part there, in the way that any man would think to themselves: 'I deserve to be shot'."

Given the evil manner of Tate's death, some of Jones's recollections about his former lover take on an eerie significance.

Scroll down for more...

"One night we went to visit the Trevi Fountain, and I looked at her and had the strongest feeling she was going to die.

"Another time I was looking over at her and asking her what she was thinking about, and she suddenly came out with: 'The Devil is beautiful. Most people think he's ugly, but he's not.'

"I thought it weird at the time but Roman had just done the movie Rosemary's Baby so I related it to that.

"I told her she shouldn't say things like that because it made me nervous.

"I knew that she and Roman lived in quite an isolated place in LA, so I told her that for her own protection she should have a gun, but she said that she could never shoot anyone even if she had one."

Of the last night they spent together in Rome, Jones says: "I told her that we'd get back together when we were in America and she agreed, and when I said: 'What about Roman?', she said: 'Don't worry about Roman.'

"I didn't envisage that she would leave Roman; I didn't envisage anything.

"I thought it was love. Whatever brief time we had together, we were very happy. I always expected to see her again."

Jones went from Rome to Dingle to begin shooting on Ryan's Daughter and Tate returned to LA.

"When she got there, she called my manager a couple of times," says Jones, "but she didn't ask to talk to me, which got me a little p****d off. But I was just getting on with my
life."

Getting on with his life included embarking on an affair with Olivia Hussey, whom he had seen in the movie Romeo And Juliet.

"I saw Olivia's beautiful face up on screen and I asked my manager if he could arrange for us to meet, and so we started seeing each other.

"Olivia wanted to come to Ireland with me, so she did. That's what was happening when I heard about Sharon's murder."

The call came to the hotel in Ireland where Jones was staying.

"One of my other managers took it. When he hung up, he told me that everyone in the house had been murdered. At first, I didn't have a strong reaction because I was so stunned.

"Only slowly did it hit me, and then it hit me hard. I was pretty disoriented. I couldn't make sense of it, that someone that beautiful and young had to die like that."

Jones remained in shock for much of the filming of Ryan's Daughter, a state noted by his co-star Sarah Miles in the second volume of her memoirs, Serves Me Right.

Miles makes frequent mention of Jones's erratic behaviour during filming, and paints a picture of an actor who was pretty much a loner.

Most embarrassing of all, she describes the tortuous making of the film's pivotal love scene, where a lacklustre Jones was given a potion concocted by a chemist "to help matters considerably" and increase his sexual enthusiasm for Miles on screen.

"I was feeling weird," says Jones, "I attributed that to an accident I had had in my Ferrari or to Sharon's death, but I had no idea they had drugged me."

Did Miles ever make a pass at Jones (the scene in the bluebell wood was one of the raunchiest lovemaking scenes of its time, after all)?

"No, but Sarah was getting more jealous as the filming wore on.

"In that first scene where I'm pushing her up against the wall, as much as she said she didn't feel anything, she was gone.

"I read some of Sarah's book - I didn't like the part where she called me a midget and inferred I was a homosexual. During the shoot I hung out with Olivia.

"We were going to get married at one point, but my manager talked me out of it - I'm sure he was thinking of finances when he did - and after that, Olivia and I didn't talk much either.

"It was a difficult shoot, and after Ryan's Daughter I gave up acting because I realised I hated it."

Jones finally accepted a small role in the 1996 film Mad Dog Time.

In the interim, he lived on the money he had made from his movies and pursued a successful career as an artist (his painting of Rudolph Valentino hangs in the famous Hollywood Forever Cemetery).

In the 1990s, Quentin Tarantino approached Jones for a part in Pulp Fiction, "It was for the part of Zed the Gimp and my girlfriend at the time read it and said: 'You're not doing this - it's disgusting.' So I didn't."

Jones has had seven children by four women, and one son, Timothy, was convicted of the involuntary manslaughter of his mother, actress Susan Cabot.

Further problems ensued in 1996 when Christopher ingested "something caustic" and was taken to hospital.

"The doctors thought I'd tried to kill myself, which I hadn't," he says. "The medical report said I'd died in the ambulance, but somehow, I managed to survive."

The internal damage was so severe he now has to take all nutrients through a syringe connected to his stomach.

"I shouldn't
drink, but occasionally I'll pour shots into the syringe.'"

He adds: "I've had a complicated life, but I've enjoyed it.

"It's not like Sharon's always preying on my mind, but if I see something about her on TV, it all comes flooding back."

Nellie Bell

The great thing about Nelson when he was alive is that he would take accurate information and mix it up with pure bullshit.

Bruce Davis was NOT The Zodiac Killer. He was a very naughty boy.

Enjoy.

Psalm 88

O LORD, the God who saves me,
day and night I cry out before you.

May my prayer come before you;
turn your ear to my cry.

For my soul is full of trouble
and my life draws near the grave.

I am counted among those who go down to the pit;
I am like a man without strength.

I am set apart with the dead,
like the slain who lie in the grave,
whom you remember no more,
who are cut off from your care.

You have put me in the lowest pit,
in the darkest depths.

Your wrath lies heavily upon me;

you have overwhelmed me with all your waves.
Selah

You have taken from me my closest friends
and have made me repulsive to them.
I am confined and cannot escape;

my eyes are dim with grief.
I call to you, O LORD, every day;
I spread out my hands to you.

Do you show your wonders to the dead?

Do those who are dead rise up and praise you?
Selah

Is your love declared in the grave,
your faithfulness in Destruction ?

Are your wonders known in the place of darkness,
or your righteous deeds in the land of oblivion?

But I cry to you for help, O LORD;
in the morning my prayer comes before you.

Why, O LORD, do you reject me
and hide your face from me?

From my youth I have been afflicted and close to death;

I have suffered your terrors and am in despair.

Your wrath has swept over me;
your terrors have destroyed me.

All day long they surround me like a flood;
they have completely engulfed me.

You have taken my companions and loved ones from me;
the darkness is my closest friend.

Larry Melton The White Turd

It seems that White Rabbitt needs to be struck down pretty much every year.

Larry Melton still shows up on message boards and still convinces unsuspecting idiots that he was connected with the Family and is not a registered pervert.

But of course he is a pervert and a sex offender and in general a bad guy, in my opinion.

Here is a thread from a few years ago where he rips somebody off for his hilariously bad book ( I got mine free from Jon Aesnihil and couldn't read it) and at the end they call him a WASTE OF AIR.

Jerk threatens people when he couldn't even win a fight with his grandmother.

I found this hilarious because minutes before I had called him a WASTE OF SKIN on KTS.

White Turd- pretty much a waste of everything.

ME TOO!

Of all the many footnotes of this bizarre and crazy crime, the "Sandy Good wants to go to jail so she can be like Squeaky but the attempted murder of the President of the United States thing is so done so why don't I and Susan Murphy send threatening
letters to random executives claiming we give a shit about the environment and in the process throw away ten years of our lives" is certainly a humdinger.

I mean what must the psychology of this have been? She had created her own folies a deux with Squeaky that is clear. She wanted to keep the Manson game going. I get all that. But here is the joke- NOBODY cared. She went away for ten freaking years and you barely can find anything about it written or otherwise. If Fromme is the footnote to TLB then Lettergate is like the footnote to a zygote to a pimple.

You hear nowadays that she has repudiated Charlie but then that means she did THROW AWAY those ten years. I do not believe that she has.

Two Years Kinda Sucks

Manson family killer denied parole in California

Fri Aug 31, 2007 9:02AM EDT

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A former follower of serial killer Charles Manson has been denied parole for the 18th time for the 1969 slayings of Los Angeles couple Leno and Rosemary LaBianca, officials said on Thursday.

Leslie Van Houten, 58, was told to try again in two years, following a parole board panel meeting at the California Institute for Women in Corona, Calif., 37 miles east of Los Angeles. She was last turned down in 2006.

The former high school cheerleader was convicted of murder and conspiracy for participating with Charles "Tex" Watson and Patricia Krenwinkel in the slayings of the LaBiancas in the couple's suburban Los Angeles home. She was 19 at the time of the murders.

Van Houten and fellow members of the so-called Manson "family" were sentenced to death in 1971, but the penalties were commuted to life imprisonment with the possibility of parole the following year, after the California State Supreme Court voted to abolish the death penalty.

Van Houten said at her 2004 parole hearing that she stabbed Rosemary LaBianca 14 to 16 times after the woman had already been stabbed by Watson and Krenwinkel. She did not participate in the Manson family's slayings of pregnant actress Sharon Tate and four others the night before.

Manson, 72, was denied parole for another five years in May.

August 10- Our Countdown Finishes

Because this night is much much easier to get a handle on, the Col feels that the good students will focus on this night and figure out what the hell was going on here. If we can do that, there is a chance to link everything together. I hope.

Our Cast

Leno Labianca- Grocer, alleged mafioso, neighbor of Harold True, owned a little black book, maybe killed because of his money or because of owing money. Brutal death. But was he the target?

Rosemary LaBianca- we hear about Leno's first wife (boy do we ever) but never Rosemary's first husband. Is that significant? Killed by Katie and Leslie, quite horribly in her own home. She left a large estate. Is that the motive?

Suzan Struthers- bitch "forgave" the psycho who killed her mom and step dad, Christian Tex. Is this because she wanted them dead? She ran with biker Joe Dornan. Connection? How about brother Frank- Col never hears what happened to him.

Linda Kasabian- this is why I am so stressed out that the bitch didn't get the same sentencing. The very next night, hell, not even 24 hours later, Linda DROVE the car KNOWING THAT MURDERS WERE GONNA LIKELY HAPPEN. How do you walk away scott free from that shit? She never ever calls anyone. Never drops a dime till the case is blown wide open. Fuck her. Worse, she knows Harold True it seems quite well. What is that shit. Then she saves the guy in Venice- uh huh.

Patricia Krenwinkel- craziest bitch that ever walked the planet. She had already proven that she could kill for fun. She fucking loved it. Tex could count on Miss Low Self Esteem.

Leslie Van Houten- for a change I am not going to goad that Jimmy guy, at least not on purpose. I don't think she clearly knows what is gonna happen. I think she's caught up in a weird daydream about freeing Bobby. I think she has low self esteem, yes. I think she has issues and is probably a very angry chick. I think it could have just as easily been Sadie, with Leslie getting the free ride to Venice. I think someone felt that Bobby's girl needed to get her hands dirty just to protect themselves in some weird way, maybe against testimony. Maybe Charlie, I am not sure. But once inside, definitely Tex makes her get her hands dirty. Now of course, I think she liked it. That is a lot of stab wounds. Either way, that half hour constituted throwing her whole life away.

Tex Watson- If we can ever find the connection between Tex and Leno or Tex and Voytek or Leno and Voytek with maybe Crowe somewhere in the middle, we solve this whole mysterious case. The Col believes Tex is the key to everything. He either was killing on orders, which I don't buy, from Charlie, or he was killing for other reasons. Personal ones. Why Tex? We want to know.

Charlie Manson- I don't think he even believed Tate was gonna happen. I think he thought Voytek might get whupped and Abigail dropped in the pool if she was there. The other three were not expected to be there. That is a LOT of unexpected carnage. The next night, knows that Tex is gonna kill again ( work with me here, it fits the facts ) Charlie comes along to make sure that A- there isn't a bunch of unexpected people around B- there isn't a lot of yelling and screaming. And again, I don't know, but maybe he isn't expecting killing. I mean who in the whole group expected Texas Boy to be a secret homicidal maniac? Whatever happens, Charlie is fucking miles away when the LaBiancas are slaughtered.

---> There is a lot to think about. One day the missing link will be found. NINE people remain dead, of which, at most TWO had reasons to be killed. Funnily enough, MOST of the killers, convicted and not, remain alive. Food for thought.

[Many readers write in that I screwed up the White Rambler which was actually Steven's. Yes. I did. Sorry. The killers used Swartz' yellow 1959 Ford. Somebody else pointed up that I played a little fast and loose with the dates when shit happened at 12 in the morning. Probably. Don't care. In any case, 38 years of Bugliosi lies is a long time.]

August 8- Time Runs Out

While Jay does an expensive onset visit with George Peppard, D-Day has arrived.

38 years ago today.... and tonight...

Charlie and Stephanie return to Spahn. Many girls apparently express jealousy over Charlie's exclusivity.

Charlie learns that Bobby has been arrested. May lead cops to ranch. Girls talking about copycats.

Mary and Sandy fuck up at the Sears Roebuck and are arrested. News filters back to the ranch.

Based on NOTHING, the Col believes that Charlie tried to reach Melcher about some outstanding business today and got full on ignored.

If you believe Linda, Charlie told a group of them "Now is the time for Helter Skelter". But then this bitch was just trying to save her own ass.

Steven Parent calls Garrettson and arranges to come by, allegedly to sell an alarm clock, but more likely for a gay rendezvous. Bill obliges.

Sharon, Gibby, Jay and Voytek had their last meal at El Coyote in the back corner booth by the bathrooms. The place was much newer and nicer back then.

They got back to Cielo after 8. Drunk and loud.

Sometime after ten, Tex, Sadie, and Katie, with Linda driving, get into Jonny Swartz's white Rambler.

It was on!

August 7- Still No Indication of Future Slaughter

Well let's see- Charlie is in San Diego with Stephanie the new girl.

Bobby's been arrested but Charlie doesn't know it until tomorrow.

The chuckleheads in this picture start theorizing that maybe copycat murders with blood on the wall would prove that Bobby didn't do Hinman. Of course if it was all about copycats, they turned out to be the WORST EVER since no one linked anything together.

The ranch is still a bit commando- Lotsapoppa assumed dead, Hinman dead, Bobby in jail.

Garretson is taking care of the back house by getting stoned.

Steve Parent is so far away that being murdered at a movie star house isn't even a thought within a thought.

Life is so strange- at any point in the next day all this shit could be avoided if one thing broke the other way.

August 6- Party Or No Party

First off thanks to WestsideWalks for the Picture location.

We can use today to discuss two things.

Sharon is back at the dream house, fully ready to pop out Baby Paul. It is so freaking hot she spends most of the time in her underwear. Oh, and besides her friend Abigail's BF Voytek being around, Sharon's ex BF, the guy who never stopped loving her, Jay Sebring is hanging about. If you look at the famous roll of photos that AesNihil sells, which Bill Nelson stole from the cop who stole them from the Tate house (phew!), little Jay is hanging around in tight speedos. Now I know this was the sixties and people are liberated and shit, but really. Her EX BOYFRIEND is hanging around the house while her husband is in Europe. Fact is, Polanski is a cinema genius. One for the ages. He was also at that time (he appears to have gotten better) a shithead husband. I believe Roman was out, within weeks of becoming a dad. I don't know if Jay had a shot, but he wanted one that is obvious. Do I think they were up to shit? No. But it was only a matter of time. Time that, in three days, they would never get.

Let's also discuss the "parties" that were going on up there. I have personally met over FIVE people who really believe they were invited to a party up at Cielo the night of the slaughter. This is simple. NO they weren't. Anyone who tells you they were (including George Lazenby) are lying and have been lying for decades. Just nod your head and ignore them.

Anyway, two other major events today.

Charlie returned from Big Sur to Spahn with Stephanie. Charlie finds out that Bobby is staying at the Ranch with most of Hinman's property still on him....so he tells him to get out.

Also sometime early today Bobby Beausoleil, sleeping in the Fiat that belonged to Gary, is arrested for murder. He's still in jail for that 38 years later. But it is his arrest that clearly drives the next three days of madness.

August 5- Esalen

38 Years ago today Charlie was NOT at the Ranch depicted below. (Great Photo) He was at Esalen Institute up in Big Sur. What is that?

The never accurate Wikipedia says :

Esalen Institute is a center in the United States for humanistic alternative education and a nonprofit organization devoted to multidisciplinary studies ordinarily neglected by traditional academia. Esalen offers more than 500 public workshops a year in addition to invitational conferences, residential work-study programs, research initiatives, and internships. Part think-tank for the emerging world culture, part college and lab for transformative practices, and part restorative retreat, Esalen is dedicated to exploring work in the humanities and sciences that furthers the full realization of what Aldous Huxley called the “human potential”.

Charlie was touring about with a large chested wench named Stephanie Schram. They'd actually get ticketed at one point for making love. All reports indicate that Charlie thought Stephanie was really something special.

When he does get back to the ranch, tomorrow time, things are not going too well.

August 4- Not a Care in the World

Sharon is at home, dealing with being pregnant.

Rudi is away.

Garrettson is caretaking and toking.

Steve is just a student looking for cute boys.

Voytek dreams of making it like Roman did.

Abigail bleeds for oppressed minorities, and some better weed.

Jay has a head or two to take care of.

Rosemary and Leno are away on vacation.

Roman is prepping THE DAY OF THE DOLPHIN.

The Sixties are in full swing.

Everything is groovy, 38 years ago.

August 3- Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch

Of course, 38 years ago today shit back at Spahn's was crazy time. I mean Lotsapoppa was shot, presumed dead, Gary was dead and had been found. Cops were looking for the culprits. Bobby and Sadie and Mary were nervous- they knew what they had done. And Charlie. Charlie's homemade family was coming undone at the seams. It was chaos.

In just a few days Charlie is going to suggest Bobby take Hinman's Fiat and git. And NOTHING good is gonna come from that.

August 2- Sharon Lives Her Life

38 years ago today Sharon was alive and beautiful. Here's a photo that proves both. If you bother to read the description (which I am not gonna chop off just this once) the loser murdering girls are described as homeless! This before there was a homeless "problem". And Tex, the main thug killer magically gets evaporated from the equation.

Sharon was younger than all of you were. She was beautiful and successful and wanted to be a mom.

Then the assholes cam a knockin, in less than a week now.

August 1- It Begins....

Seriously, how much do you love the Col? I stole this freaking photo off of ebay with such quality you could print it yourself and not have to pay a shitload of money. I am not sure what these people are paying so much for anyway- buying the photo does not give you the copyright, so you can't USE the photo except for your bedroom wall. And that's too sick even for the Col.

Anyway, it is August 1. 38 years ago Gary Hinman was dead and the beginning of the end had started. In eight nights Sharon Tate would be so hideously murdered for no reason by a bunch of losers even I can't think too much about it.

But this is a more pleasant sight. Here is a brilliant photo. It seems to be an army issue photo of the Tate Family in happier times. The Col Paul, looking quite regal. Sharon, the apple of Dad's eye. Doris, thin, young, happy. Debra, before she grew up to Jabba size and hoarded her father's ashes.

Yes, in any other context the photo is a trite look at the American Family in 1956. But what it really is is a photo of happiness, thirteen years before some jerkoffs destroyed both the Tate Family and America's piece of mind.

And the killers still try to get parole.....shocking.

More Folgers Please!

Ines Mejia Folger -- socialite lived with zest

Friday, July 27, 2007

Days after her 100th birthday, Ines Mejia Folger greeted a friend who arrived at her bedside.

"I'm bored," Ms. Folger said. "I should get a job."

The centenarian had only recently given up French lessons to maintain her accent and had employed a personal trainer well into her 90s.

But now she was bored.

She couldn't continue to read; her eyesight had failed some time before, and she couldn't play a hand of bridge. But she could talk, Ms. Folger told her friend John Drum, so maybe she could advise people.

Ms. Folger, known as simply Pui to everyone who knew her, died less than two weeks later on July 15.

Her wise counsel, however, was not lost. The San Francisco native guided generations by example for decades, living life with enthusiasm, curiosity and a large measure of gusto while overcoming a very public and horrifying tragedy, friends said.

Her daughter Abigail had died 38 years ago at the age of 25 -- one of the five people killed by followers of Charles Manson at the Los Angeles home of actress Sharon Tate on Aug. 8, 1969.

"I just don't know how she got through it," said Joan Chatfield-Taylor, a friend of Ms. Folger's over five decades. "She was open about talking about it. And she never lost her sense of humor. It helps when you have one million friends," Chatfield-Taylor said.

Ms. Folger was born Ines Mejia in Piedmont in 1907 -- denied a San Francisco birthright after her family was displaced by the 1906 earthquake.

Her father was the consul general for El Salvador and she spent much of her youth attending schools in France and England.

Decades later, she would enthrall friends at dinner parties with stories about the burial of the Unknown Soldier beneath the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and other post-World War I events -- "things that came right out of the history books," Chatfield-Taylor said.

She returned to finish high school at Convent of the Sacred Heart in Menlo Park, but was ultimately denied a diploma because she helped a classmate elope.

In 1933, she married Peter Folger, a member of the coffee family. They had two children, Abigail and Peter, and were divorced in 1952.

Friends described Ms. Folger as the center of attention and the liveliest person in any room. A voracious reader, she was curious about a wide range of topics and had opinions on virtually any idea that was raised at a dinner table.

"She didn't spend her time being shocked and disapproving," Chatfield-Taylor said. "She was always interested in what was going on."

In the mid-1960s, when she was in her 60s, Ms. Folger worked in the Haight-Ashbury Free Medical Clinic.

In the 1990s, when she was in her 90s, she met the Dalai Lama.

The Tibetan monk tied a string around Ms. Folger's neck, a simple spiritual token the San Francisco socialite wore for years, Drum said.

"It was a profound experience for her," he said of the encounter that happened at the San Francisco Opera. "She said she looked into his eyes and saw his soul and such humanity."

Ms. Folger was a founding member of the Patrons of the Arts and Music at the Palace of Fine Arts, which eventually evolved into the Fine Arts Museum Board. She was also a board member of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

Ms. Folger was a fan of San Francisco gossip and "terribly up to date on it," Chatfield-Taylor said.

"She was in society," she said, "but she didn't take the social scene that seriously."

Ms. Folger is survived by her son Peter Folger of San Francisco; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be said at 4 p.m. on Sept. 17, at St. Ignatius Church, 650 Parker Ave., San Francisco.

Donations can be sent to the Abigail Folger Library Fund, Santa Catalina School, 1500 Mark Thomas Dr., Monterey, CA, 93940.

R.I.P.

Ines Mejia Folger
Ines Mejia Folger Known to her friends as "Pui", died peacefully on July 15, 2007, three weeks after celebrating her 100th birthday. Born in Piedmont, California on June 25, 1907, she was the sixth and youngest child of Encarnacion and Gertrude Mejia, both of whom were born in El Salvador. At the time of his youngest child's birth, Mr. Mejia was the Consul General for El Salvador in San Francisco. After attending the Convent of the Sacred Heart in San Francisco for the primary grades, Mrs. Folger was sent to Europe at the age of 12 to attend schools in Paris and London. During her schooling in Paris, she witnessed numerous historic post-World War I events, including the pageantry surrounding the burial of the Unknown Soldier beneath the Arc de Triomphe. She finished high school at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Menlo Park, but was denied a diploma because she had helped a classmate elope in the spring of their senior year. In spite of the lack of a diploma or further formal education, her curiosity about people, places, and events made her a life-long learner by reading widely, traveling extensively, and meeting as many people as she could of all nationalities and from all walks of life. She never lost her love of France, taking French lessons well into her 100th year so she would not lose her accent. Mrs. Folger was married in 1933 to Peter Folger. They divorced in 1952. She had two children, Abigail and Peter. Her daughter died in 1969. Mrs. Folger was involved in numerous civic activities. Among others, she was a founding member of the Patrons of the Arts and Music at the Palace of the Legion of Honor and a member of the Board of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. A project that gave her great satisfaction and was reflective of her commitment to being involved in the events of her time, was working at the Haight-Ashbury Free Medical Clinic in the mid-1960s. Besides her son, she is survived by her daughter-in-law Barbara; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A private Funeral Service occurred on July 18. There will be a Memorial Mass at 4:00 pm on September 17, 2007 at St. Ignatius Church, Fulton & Parker Streets. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Abigail Folger Lib- rary Fund, Santa Catalina School, 1500 Mark Thomas Drive, Monterey, CA 93940

[[Some Thoughts....Woman lived a long ass time...nice...could not find ANY pics of her anywhere...shame.... Family never addressed Abigail's murder- look at the comment in the obit that she merely "died"....good luck to the family]]

Horse-Tooth Jackass

I look at this, another special photo that I stole for you all, and I see a very happy young girl, proud of what she has done, thrilled with all the attention she is getting. I DO NOT see a very pretty girl at all. I see a spoiled, pampered brat who is smiling for the camera and exposing her chompers with glee. You just need to look at this not to buy the "I'm so sorry" bullshit from the present day. Because of course we call her a girl, but in this photo she is 21 years old. When my mom was her age she already had two children she was raising. And the Col was not easy to raise.

But I digress.

So anyway, the hell with this bitch getting parole. Just show this photo to the board. "Hi, I'm about to be convicted in the worst murder spree of the century. But I'd really like to go to Disney land." Jackass.

Also don't miss the big X on the bitch's forehead. Really pretty girl indeed.

This is another case where the caption is illuminating so I reprint that also. I never read in the Bug's fiction about any delay that I recall except for Susan needed a dentist I think. Here they talk about cysts and impacted colons, because Susan was full of shit. Hmmm, colon, dentist. Maybe Bug had it right. LOL!

Thank God For Morons

I mean if we didn't have morons who would we have to make fun of and take out the garbage?

Over on KTS Yahoo, the site that banned my superior knowledge and thus inspired this blog I see that they have allowed a monkey in there under multiple names, but mostly Bryan. He is babbling this Ultimate Evil position of Charlie being a CIA operative and shit. Which is all very cool, except he wasn't. He was a two bit con man.

The killings were done by spooks all right- these three bitches who did it and enjoyed it and boasted about it. Pretty spooky whores to have them show up while you are sleeping and then start flashing knives around. (and another special photo)

Sharon didn't know about the murder of Bobby Kennedy. You see Bobby Kennedy was killed by another fucking loon named Sirhan Sirhan. The fact that Paul Tate was in intelligence was WIDELY reported actually, moron. I mean, I don't even have to take your position apart, the normally complacent housewives of KTS are kicking it to shreds as I speak.

The SEVEN victims of TLB were killed by Tex, Sadie, Leslie and Katie. There's no question about that. And they were loser, stoner hippies.

My search is for WHY they were killed. NOT because Charlie was a hitman. NOT because of any bullshit the BUG picked out of his ass. It could be as simple as a damn mistake, thinking Terry was there.

But please Mr. Moron- you people are sick and need help. Stop spreading your lies and bullshit on the web.

There is no such legal term as INNOCENT, People

Here's another rare photo. Pretty cool.

I got an email that I'll excerpt because it bothers me that people can't read. So here we go-

but I just wanted to say that the main
problem that I have
with your theory of
Charlie being innocent is the fact
that
he broke into the Labianca's house and
tied them
up and poof....they were killed
an hour later. What
was his motive for
tying them up? Was he just scaring
them
and letting them know there was going to
be a
creepy crawly going on later on in
the evening?
Probably not.

Thank you kind sir. Except I never had
a theory that Charlie was
innocent. I said that Charlie never
killed anyone. You see, he is
held up as the devil, yet he never killed
a single person. I have this
theory because, well, it's true.
I have a theory about the
brontosaurus, that it is thin on one end,
much much thicker in the
middle then thin again on the other end.

Also, as a disbarred lawyer I can
state that when you are tried in this
country you are either NOT GUILTY or
GUILTY. Not guilty does not
equate to innocence- you could be
guilty but there isn't enough
evidence.

Anyway, that's my theory.

Compare and Contrast

It's pretty damn cool to look at these old photos in a vacuum and wonder what people who saw them might think if they had no idea wtf was going on.

Like show this one to your pals and ask about the lady in the picture who looks so happy. Was she

1- Rescued from the Arctic after her plane crashed and she was forced to eat her kin.
2- Just finished a free nationwide tour brought to you by Diet Pepsi
3- Finally found her birth mother after a decade long search
4- Sees her presumed dead Army husband in the distance and is about to run to him
5- Is at the courthouse for trying to kill the President of the United States

They'll guess wrong every time!

U-G-L-Y You Ain't Got No Alibi

Here's Katie the day she got her ass arrested.

Most of the captions on these photos are redundant but I include this one because it mentions the stakeout at Auntie's house and I never read that before.

Can you imagine this shit though.

"hey chile, open the door there's some revenuers outside"

" I can't Auntie Em it be the po-lice"

"It can't be that big a deal girl, what did you do."

" I murdered five strangers because I thought it would help me fit in"

"Chile get your ass out of my house pronto!"

Tangential Events

I am always intrigued by the number of events that went on around this case that never got followed through on. Like why did the police believe that Zero committed suicide when we can clearly read what happened and realize he didn't? Why did they never follow up on Joel Pugh's killing? Where was Bruce when he and Nancy went into the sewers for a few weeks?

Is it just me or if some of this shit happened today would the police take a closer look? I think so.

In any case, here is another cool photo of the gang getting arraigned (I guess it is two photos) for giving Fat Hoyt an LSD burger. It is this LSD that has made her lie about Shorty's death for the past few decades. And of course, also made people like Nelson and Bug follow Babs around. You know, for crumbs.

So Listen Closely, Not For Very Much Longer

Here's Squeaky listening to the voices in her head and waving good bye to her entire future.

I still admire that she seems to be the only member of the group who has stuck with being crazy. What some might call keeping the faith.

If you think about it, she probably doesn't even know what really happened those nights (who would have told her) and she hasn't seen Charlie in decades, but she is keeping the faith by gum!

Would ya Do Her?

Any of you guys (sorry ladies) ever play a game of "would ya do her?"

Like I'd have to be blind and retarded to ever do Katie.

Looking at this special photo, I think, "Shit, I'd never do Squeaky that broad is crazy talk. But Nancy....mmmm... that might be good crazy."

Of course she's probably cut my nuts off in the middle. But still.

Hard Copy of Tex

Fucking love this video. The man who stabbed a pregnant woman found God. Probably between Katie's hairy legs.

(poor quality video, good history lesson) (and look- there's Bill!)

Escape Says the Sign

Here is another of those rare photos from ebay that people pay for and the Col steals for your viewing pleasure.

I love the sign that says ESCAPE ( I didn't even crop it that way).

This was taken the day Ruby Pearl testified about what they likely "done to Shorty".

Look how happy these murderous bimbo assholes look!

Yeah, Patricia, you're sorry my hind end!
