¶ I mentioned on EvilLiz that I question whether or not Rosemary ever really left a $2 million dollar estate. I can find no record of this. Author Tom O'Neill mentioned that he had been unable to confirm any such thing. I wonder if that has changed or if his book is going to come out.

¶ Claire Watkins, Little Paul's daughter has written a book BATTLEBORN. It is really good. Limited insight into TLB but a strong writer.

¶ I hear Bugliosi remains gravely ill. We will pray for his recovery and repentance.

¶ I hear that Clem is in a new band.

¶ I hear Nelson's sons are now grown up and successful.

¶ In shocking news, neither Orca nor Robin have accepted my Lie Detector challenge.

Don't Feed The Under Bridge Dwellers

It never ceases to amaze. The trolls show up and people feel a need to respond. Or in one case pack up and leave.

I have a better solution- DON'T READ their bullshit.

AC Fisher Aldag, just for one example, is fucking wrong about everything she posts. Everything. If she told me the time I would assume she was off by 3 hours. There is nothing credible in anything she says.

Now do I read her stuff and say "Holy shit no, I've got to straighten her out?" Do I offer to interview her (hi Patty!)? Do I deal with a deep seated need to be right and therefore ban her?

I do none of these things. And here is why.

I can just see her name and skip her post, secure in the knowledge that nothing she says makes sense.

I don't have to prove she is or is not a racist, like Liz's site is doing. I KNOW she is wrong about everything. That allows me to skip anything she says.

But I still allow her to say it, because it doesn't disturb our task.

But Sadie was of course at the LaBianca house. I mean for FUCK'S SAKE, every single person there said so, including Sadie.

The Official TLB Murders Blog 2.0

Good evening. Pull up a chair and join us won't you? This evening is brought to you by the dulcet tones of The Beatles as well as Lawrence Welk. Let's open a decanter of brandy and pour some...uh...libations.

Welcome back to the ONLY Official Blog that dares to ask the question "Why were nine people savagely murdered and do the people in jail really belong there." This is of course a murder case from FORTY THREE fucking years ago. Yet, because everyone involved was so damn young at the time, precious few of those associated with the case (except of course the victims) have passed away.

I am your host, ColScott. I started this blog many moons ago after being repeatedly banned from lesser sites. These sites tried to coddle the memory of the victims. They took the garbage spewed by BUGliosi in his novel HELTER SKELTER as God Given truth. They didn't want to hear about Debra's disownment, Garrettson's mental breakdowns, or BUGliosi punching out his mistress. They just wanted to oogle fucking Ouisch, or worse, pretend to be her. If you wish any of those things, the Official Blog is NOT the place to do so.

This Blog will do many things. Discuss obscure aspects of the case. Update you with news you might have missed. Argue about whether retards like Jim in New York should be allowed to breathe MY air. But everything we do here is in the service of one thing. Figuring out what REALLY happened. 9 people remain dead and the lying, full of shit prosecutor made up a motive and spoon fed it to Grandma. I want to know why they were killed. For reals.

Now I may never know. It was a longass time ago and a bunch of people want to produce bad screenplays and make more shit up. And worse, the people who DO know haven't said boo in decades so I can't count on them now. But dammit, if we don't try who will? Bret? Heaven? Mark Turner? Evidently not.

The Col as you can see has posted rarely in the last 6 months. I've been wondering, "Whither Goest The Blog?" Do I have any more to say? Is the pursuit worthwhile?

I say thee YES.

The TLB crimes remain a central crime of my lifespan. People remain fascinated with what happened this many years later. They do so BECAUSE of the lies that we seek to unravel here.

I am trying to figure out why posts aren't posting when they should. But anyway....

People keep writing me about the evilliz blog. She's a bit loony but a nice enough loon. She seems focused on finding pictures of TLB Players since the case times...right up to modern times. That amount of work makes the Col's nut sack shrivel up in tears. I like the pictures of TJ, don't get me wrong. And the pictures of Ruth Ann, should they be real, are fascinating to look at. But the point of this, the ONLY Official TLB Blog, is to try to get to he truth of the crimes. A truth that has been lost thanks to the lies and perjury of Vinnie T. BUGliosi, the great lover of Latin music. If photos of modern day people are helpful, I will surely run them here. Steve Grogan, aka Adam Gabriel definitely knows more than he told. He still has yet to be charged for the LaBianca killings. He has a conviction for exposing himself to children. He is seen in the Hendrickson documentary endangering some kids. He disappears for years. Fine. When it comes out that he is in a band that plays children's parties, that IS news and relevant and we will discuss it here.

This has nothing to do with psycho Monkeyboy or two bit lawyers without actual offices. Ruth Ann likely could add many details to the story of the Family; she doesn't know shit about the murders. She's lived her life as far as I can tell well. If Liz or anyone wants to out her, I neither approve nor disapprove. I'm just not gonna do it. Nancy Pitman the same. As far as I know she didn't kill anyone and isn't still on the run. She likely did go back the first night to the Tate House, but this isn't a crime. She got lucky with a LOT of shit, especially the Stockton murders, but she paid her time. If Evil Liz wants to obsess about her, hey, I don't even know who Liz IS, not my problem. Also not my interest.

Cat's site is now the gold standard since Bret died. Her site is The Times of London. We're the New York Times. Liz is People magazine. All three have their place in the world.

It Takes All Kinds...

Since starting the first TLB related Blog I have long encouraged others to follow in my footsteps. Some have done a good job. Most have brought the crazy in a big way. Long time blog students will remember JimNY Savage. His blog was full of self pity and stupidity, with delusions of relationships with lying murderess Leslie Van Houten. He also got the Col's Youtube account torn down. So I hope he is locked up somewhere.

I just discovered this blog. I know, but seriously how can I keep up with everything. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has got one.

The blog reads like the Col's retarded third cousin. I have outlined my position often enough that I find it creepy and scary when I see it repeated here, and incorrectly.

There is NO doubt that the BUG was not interested in the truth. There is no doubt that he invented the motivation of Helter Skelter. There is no doubt that Charlie never killed anyone.

These are all true, as any real student of the case will tell you.

This does NOT mean that Charlie didn't get a fair trial. He did. He COULD have played the game better and gotten a better trial. But he CHOSE not to. The law doesn't protect you from your own idiocy and being your own counsel is idiotic.

This does NOT mean that Charlie is some innocent naif. He was present at Hinman and cut his ear. He was present at Shea and orchestrated that murder in many ways. He shot Lotsapoppa. He WAS the leader at Spahn's despite AC's nonsense.

So when I see a blog like the one linked to above, I get depressed. Because the crazies make it harder for the rest of us.

Six whole weeks and not a single posting here on the only Official Blog in the case. I would have to check, but I think that's the longest we've had without something brilliant and astonishing to bring to you all.
Sure, I've been busy. It's hard out there for a pimp. And I don't make the rent money from typing to you all. Homey makes it the old fashioned way, one quarter at a time.
So I knew I was going to have to broach my reasoning here, and so I wondered what it actually was. And voila, it became clear.

The Col is frustrated.

I'm frustrated that in all the bullshit coverage of the bullshit 40th Anniversary the only new items to come out where that Linda went over to Parent's car and Linda demanded the immunity from prosecution. Interesting tidbits, but nothing new.

You mean after all this time NO ONE is willing to tell the truth? The closest we got to reality was when addled Larry King asked Linda the obvious question, "Why did you go the second night knowing what you know?" and Bug changed the subject.

That's all we get?

The Col is frustrated. He now believes there might be some new explosive information in Tom O'Neill's book. But when is it coming out? No one knows. The last Manson book didn't even come out in the US. Sure it wasn't good, but....

The Col is frustrated. Do we live our lives in easily digested fairy tale morsels? Is it possible that people like Mary, Bobby and others have forgotten what happened and now just remember "their" versions? Why does NOT A SINGLE media venue point out that the BUG demonstrated mentally disturbed behavior BEFORE and AFTER the TLB trials?

The Col is frustrated...the burden of running the Official Site is a hard one. All those You Tube videos deleted because JimNY Savage is a crybaby asswipe. That was a lot of work. Bret's site is up and down like a YO YO and hasn't been updated this quarter. Mark Turner's site is like People Magazine. Long forgotten idiots like Wheat IM and email the Col insanity and banality.

The Col is frustrated.

Hopefully this post means I have overcome the frustration and am BACK.

But it has not been easy days on this case. Tons of coverage with nothing to show for it. Depressing even.

We're Back // Bobby and Jane Doe

Hi
I didn't post for an entire month. I'd love to tell you that I was on vacation but I wasn't. Or that I was in prison but I wasn't. Or maybe I was on an Amazonian exploration with BRET (whose goddamn site is goddamn down again) but I wasn't. You know what?

I didn't have anything to say!

Sorry kids... I tried. I wanted to. Truly I did.

But I just didn't have much new to add to the discussion. And the Col doesn't like to flap his mouth off. So I shut my pie hole and kept earning major dollars and ignored the ONLY Official Tate LaBianca Blog in existence.

I'm not sorry. I'm just sayin.....

But now I'm back. And I promise to make up for it in the Merry Month of May.

I kind of doubt it.
It came from the Zodiac message board, which tried to charge me $5 to join.
How come this has never ever ever ever been mentioned before? Even by the BUG during the trials? They were desperate to get a conviction the second time around and would have used anything.

on the other hand

It takes a lot to kill people. I mean I there are people I'd LIKE to kill but it ain't gonna happen. Conscience, blood and all. Now once you have done ONE, two or three more, it gets easy. Look at Tex for example. And if you study the Hinman story as much as I have (the fringe stories, Hinman, Lotsapoppa, Shea, are where I believe you will find the truth) you'll see there comes a point on Sunday where Bobby just decides in his head, Fuck it, and kills him. And do not underestimate, that is an amazing step- major- unless he has done it before.

So I don't know.

After being called such colorful names ("uneducated Red State freak," "sow,"bitch," "welfare/food stamp receipient") back on 7/19/05 for stating that I thought Debra Tate's motives were less than honorable (and not so much about her sister Sharon's memory), I find it rich that now I suddenly take a look at your blog (at the urging of a California friend) and you've suddenly jumped off the "Debra bandwagon." What happened to "her sister was slain in one of the most awful ways I can think of and you say 'but' ??? And what about "we here at the only OFFICIAL Tate-LaBianca site wish Debra.......nothing but the best in their battle for truth." Sounds like you guys are wishing her LESS THAN THE BEST these days (which is fine and dandy by me).
Why the sudden turn, ColScott? Could it be that I was right all along? I don't expect that you would ever say "You know, Caryn, you were right and I was wrong and I certainly owe you an apology." That's something you would never do, but I really don't need it anyway.

.... If I don't post for a week I get these Welcome Back emails. Fact is, I haven't been anywhere. I post when I feel like it. Sometimes daily. Sometimes hardly at all. You don't pay for my keen observations, so too bad if you want more- or less. You get what you get.

.... Referring to the above- while all aspects of the case fascinate me, I am mostly interested in the motives behind what happened. Because BUG lied to the world. If you want a truly comprehensive look at TLB try Bret's site. I am not interested in competing. If you want to discuss the case freely try KTS. I am not interested in competing. If you want to see a site where someone tries to make themselves important, try Mark Turner's site.

.... It is like clockwork- I see a TV program about TLB that is just shamefully bad and they always thank Mark Turner.

.... What no one seems to be getting in all the new Barker Ranch coverage is that the actual authorities in Inyo County don't want to spend the money. Because there aren't any bodies.

Other Groups and The Col

The Col doesn't play well with others. I admit that. All my report cards always would say that. Why? Well that should be obvious. Most people aren't worth playing with. They are willfully ignorant, lazy, or just biologically stupid.

When I started on my quest for the truth of TLB eleven years ago, it was a different world. The only site was Nellie's unless you counted ATWA which I didn't. ATWA spent pages telling me Charlie was not five feet two. And he is. Soon after Nellie spewed his puke into the ether the Ronson board appeared. FULL of pretenders to being in "The Family." The only "real" person was Karen Mccoy Montecillo who claimed to be a girlfriend of Steven Parent. She was a girl who was his friend, but him being gay, not his girlfriend. And she is now dead. Ronson eventually was revealed as phony with a Neve Campbell obsession. Nellie was outed by ATWA as a multiple count child molester. As was Larry Melton, the asshole known as White Rabbitt. Charlie made Blue shut ATWA down and I think that was the beginning of the end of her obsessions with him.

After that implosion around the turn of the century, the only place left was the YAHOO Group Killed the Sixties. On several occasions the Col saw that there were people there that knew what they were doing. The Col would join up there and get chased out because he had no time for small talk. He wanted to know what they knew. The Col must have been chucked out AT LEAST 25 times. Finally, he arranged to stay and mostly watch. Mostly.

Mark Turner had had his site, and occasionally updated it. No real firsthand research. Not often enough. It was a good site to have. Then he started a message board and banned people who told him he was delusional. This made him evil. He then started defending and promoting Dennis Rice, even trying to sell a (fraudulent) vest for the guy who left his children behind to be molested by Clem and others.

Somewhere in there I saw the Candygramma group and found something interesting in there. This has led to the biggest time suck of the last two years as the Col fought with stupid trailer park housewives who look like shit and know shit. I would get sidetracked by Jim, the delusional obsessed fan from, Staten Island who used to post here as "Savage". Then delete every post for no reason at all. What a mess. But he does understand much of the case, even if he believes a hardened, remorseless old lady should be freed. And Aaron over there always got it, but chose to stay with the biddies anyway. I left last week, and despite some illiterate, retarded emails from Candyass and Cuntyl who got their own bad selves moderated at KTS, I am done with it.

This leaves Bret's site. I don't know where the hell he came from, but some dude in Iceland has put me, AesNihil, Scramblhed, Turner, and any researcher in to the case to shame. He doesn't show his opinion often and when he does I tend to disagree. But his site is THE site out there now.

THIS place is a site of my opinions, thoughts and references as I look for the truth. People who are not wankers are welcome to post THEIR thoughts and opinions. This is not an intramural baseball game. If people want to attack and mock us, good. We have been here for years and yo can find more truth here than anywhere but Bret's. By discussing the idiocy of CG we give her power when she deserves none because, well she is an idiot.

If it isn't a reliable, primary source it doesn't deserve our attention. I mean, weeks spent dealing with Melton, who is a sad excuse for a human? No more.

Forward for the truth. It is out there.
