Orca wrote a book, or at least an essay for one. Or had Robin Olsen write it for her with her elbows.
I got a link from a reader who may or may not have gotten it from the inbred Manson site, to give due credit.
The book is called SHARON TATE: Recollection.
In it will be such recollections as-
- Cartwheeling nude on Sharon's front lawn for the cameras
- Hanging out and laughing with the major drug dealer who was the first suspect in her sister's murder
- Asking Sharon if the baby is a girl can she please name it Debra in her honor
- Yelling at her dad when he finds compromising pictures of her in a drawer that after he's dead he'll be sorry, she'll make sure he never finds eternal peace
- Telling Jay the stylist she hears he gives good head
- Asking Roman if he will marry her when he is done with her sister
- Wondering at the funeral why Sharon always gets all the attention
- Another new version of how she learned about the murders, this time from a Ouija Board
- Complaining that she didn't get to go to the house on August 9, even if she wasn't invited
Okay I keed, I keed.
Although I fucking promise you there will be no mention of the fact that she was disinherited by her father and doesn't own ANY PART of her sister's estate.
The book description indicates "And the book is filled with hundreds of rare and unpublished photos of
Sharon Tate taken by the likes of Milton Greene, Richard Avedon, Bert
Stern, Norman Parkinson, Philippe Halsman, John Engstead, and more." Hundreds of photos means hundreds of legal clearances. That's expensive and time consuming and way above the pay grade of a forcibly retired mail lady. I hope all those photos get cleared. After all the trouble she caused Statman's book you really wouldn't want to see her get trouble in return. Of course you wouldn't.
Now, the publisher is called RUNNING PRESS. If you go to their website there is no listing of this exciting and upcoming book. Odd.
But there is a book subtitled- Your Guide to Looking Fabulous at Any Age
Maybe they can send Orca a comp copy?

When Restless Souls was released, Debra's statement said she'd "make public the full story of my family, my sister Sharon, our tragedy, and my life in a definitive way."
But the book information from Amazon describes a tribute to Sharon Tate in a coffee table style collection of photos and interviews...
Glad you're back, Col. You've been missed.
Orca's family is a school of fish
Marliese, my thoughts exactly! Debra claimed to have the "real story" of the Tate family not the story presented in "Restless Souls".
I'm sure the pictorial of Sharon will be nice but not the come back I was expecting.
Well there is always the chance that she could do her sister's memory the right thing. If so then great. We'll see.
Hey Marliese, please e-mail me at katie8753@gmail.com.
Col, your thread is amusing as usual. LOL.
I really loved Stamans book because it told the story from the earliest days from a perspective I had never heard it from before, and to my own thoughtlessness- never considered.
I think potentially Debra might be interesting to hear from for the same reason. I would love to see more pics of Sharon as well. She had a timeless beauty and seemed to be a lovely person.
In all of the years I have been reading you and enjoying your blog and posts so very much- The one thing I have never understood was your constant comments on Debra's weight and her legal rights in regards to Sharon and her estate. you seem to have a very strong dislike of her, and maybe you have your personal reasons and/or there is history that I am unaware of and maybe that is either my ignorance, or none of my business.
I guess my question is whats the difference? Debra and Alisa are both people who cared very much about this crime and were both touched by it. Alisa is entitled to her say and feelings about how it affected her and those she loved and told her story beautifully. Debra was Sharon's sister. She certainly suffered great loss as well. Her story- if told honestly and with heart- would be compelling as well I feel.
To me the great tragedy here is that after suffering a great loss- a family was further torn apart internally. It is sad that they couldn't all at least come together and have each other in a time like the one they went through.
Very much like Bugs- you seem to feel thats bad things they did later in life- means that they have to be insincere about everything they have ever done.
If Sharons dad hated Deb's guts and pointed his finger at someone else and said with absolute authority- someone else was responsible for her estate- Does that change what she went through? does that change how SHARON felt about her while she was still alive?
I have done nothing but praise Alisa and her work, but She wasn't around and Debra was and that is never going to change. Debra had a close loving relationship with her big sister and I just wish sometimes that could be remembered as well. Debra has as much right as anyone to her memories and thoughts about this case.
and her weight really shouldn't have a goddamn thing to do with it.
Just like Bugs beating up a milkman really not having anything to do with being assigned and investigating a case many years earlier.
Attacking a persons character as a way of discrediting everything they have ever done or said is not fair Col.
We all make mistakes and we all have things we are embarrassed about- even you I bet. Do we want people to hold those up to the world for the rest of our lives as a way of saying nothing we have ever said or done has value or can be believed???
I am glad the health scare in your life is over and worked out for the very best. It was good to see you mingling with the bloggers at Evliz- I also respect very much that you have questioned some of Mr. Hendricksons claims.Your always the bar setter in this community in my opinion and I always value your thoughts on all of this very much...
I just don't get the hatred of Debra. It gets vicious with you about her. Maybe this has been explained in a post I missed,or started before I came along? it just seems so irrelevant and petty to bring up family infighting that happened years later. does she deserve no compassion and understanding for what she went through? If one of us lost a brother or sister we loved and looked up to and years down the road people we don't know started to show up and question or ties to that person or the rest of our family- how would we react?
I would fight with everything I have. If it got dirty or I had to cheat- so be it. If that is my Brother or Sister and was murdered- I would fight anyone who wanted a piece for the rest of my life.
I would hope you would to...
"Attacking a persons character as a way of discrediting everything they have ever done or said is not fair Col."--St. C
It's what the Col. is best at and an obvious sign that he's been hanging out with too many Scientologists in the alleys of Hollywood.
Maybe I didn't mean attacking a persons character so much as constantly using a persons worst moments as a blanket statement to denounce the reliability or trustworthiness of anything else they have ever done in their life...
And I wonder if anything Deb ever did rises to that level?? Maybe so- I just am not aware of it, and after reading this blog for so long- it would seem it should be there somewhere to me to understand.
The Col. doesn't need a reason to hate--it's just the basic element of who he is.
Ya know I have felt that way myself a few times in the recent past lol...
:)
But not sure I am quite ready to go there just yet which I am quite sure will probably cost me lol
But I like reading the guy what are you going to do?
Its an act. When Patty feels that the Col is dissing her, she imagines that he is Andy Kaufman telling her to peel the carrots and the potatoes. Then she starts laughing maniacally.
Patty you aren't a good example. You do that with everyone.
what...comparing them to Kaufman or laughing maniacally at them?
For Kaufman, there was a fringe benefit to the wrestling charade. He was painfully shy, and always had trouble meeting women. But rolling around on a mat for a few minutes with the opposite sex proved to be a very effective way to get dates. According to Bob Zmuda, Kaufman ended up sleeping with some of his wrestling opponents.
Andy Kaufman telling her to peel the carrots and the potatoes.
An act? Tell that to anyone who cares about the people he targets for his "acting." He's no better an actor than he is a producer.

It's always interesting to see someone suck up to the Colonel. Debra's weight, BMI, or choices of fast food have nothing to do with her literary worth. FYI, if you look at her pictures from when she was in her 20s and 30s she freakin' smoked Sharon. If you want to critique her literary works go for it but her looks at 50 years plus should not factor into it. She is a stone cold fox and always will be......
I've looked at her pictures from way back when, I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder cause Debra doesn't look half as good as Sharon, maybe your a perv and were talking about when she was twelve, but definitely not at any other age, she just looks like a whale in the making!
Hi Deb, I feel the same.
For me, there's something uncomfortable about Debra...a brittle edge that seems so different from the dignity and gentleness that surrounded Patti. And then some of what she says and does. Like thinking it was appropriate for a young woman to model Sharon's clothes on tabloid tv, or her ridiculous "my understanding is that it was consensual" remark about Polanski's alleged anal rape or 'unlawful sex' with the 13 year old girl he drugged. Does she really think "I want to go home" is willing participation for his di&* in her rear? As if a 13 year old can legally consent. I think she loses credibility when she makes stupid comments like that.

If anyone wants to come visit. Marliese you are certainly welcome. As is everyone else. :)
Thanks, Katie. See ya there. Love the purple...
Thanks Marliese!!! :)
Marley, dont you think its time to admit that you wrote Patty a mean letter?
Busted! LOL.
Marley, don't be a bitter person. It makes you age at a faster rate. Resentments aren't healthy. Harboring a resentment is like trying to harm someone by poisoning yourself. Also, never get on a keyboard, write a letter, or make a phone call when you're angry. That only generates negative energy..... OHM....OHM....OHM.....
i dont belive debra said all of that shit.wheres the pics of her cartwheeling naked?and i liked restless souls to.but they never say a word about debra or pattys oldest child who she gave to the father.brooke ford.and debra is the sole living immediate family member.not brie.and from what i read there was no inheritance for debra to be cut off from.the house was sold to alisa before paul died.and debra has his ashes.not brie, she is next of kin.i think she dosen remeber all the shit she says she does.they wernt really around sharon that much.but it was her sister.and her being fat has to do with what?brie is not thin
