Catscradle (who runs a very very awesome website committed to the truth, which now finally downloads properly) starts up the bizarre campaign in the comments section that I am someone famous. The Col is smart, rich and informed, but he isn't famous. However this got me thinking about a fringe aspect of the case, one Susan Murphy.
Here is what I know....--> Was roommates with Squeaky and Sandy in Sacramento when Squeaky pulled her gun on President Ford
--> Looks like a tranny
--> Was arrested with Sandy in the threat conspiracy for sending letters to corporate executives who they claimed were raping the environment. Sandy got 15 years and insisted on serving all of it.
--> Was convicted only on one conspiracy count
--> Beat up a guard and escaped from Terminal Island.
--> Was possibly named GREEN to Sandy and Squeaky's RED and BLUE.
What I don't know
--> what was her sentence?
--> when was she released?
--> where is she now?
--> Was she ever related to the Family for reals or did she just know the girls in Sacramento?
This is not a major part of anything- she's not even that interesting. But I did have some ebay photos of her mug and saw that there wasn't a lot of definitive shit on her on the web and thought I would ask.

Now, please, if you could enlighten me..if D.A.'s files are not obtainable thru the discovery process, why is it that they can be subpoenaed and obtained?
I know the attorney client privilege does not come into play in the situation of witnesses and the DA, but if the D.A's files and work product can be obtained, is there anything considered 'sacred' that is not obtainable?

catscradle's site is spectacular. It blows me away, seeing all those old articles and such. Like being transported back in time. It is dangerous though, as I can get lost in there for an hour+ at a time just digging around and reading not even realizing that I'm about to miss a deadline.

Col, Susan "Heather" Murphy was recruited by Sandy and Squeaky in Sacramento in early 1973 (according to Sanders). So it seems she was very much a latecomer.
I do not know the answer to your other questions, but I do know that both she and Sandy represented themselves at the trial for the letters.
Most sources that I can think of have her disappearing after mention of that trial.

you guys! No one finds it odd that Sandy claimed that the Family was "deeply involved" in the assasination attempt on Ford? I don't know why I can't let this go. Was she just blabbing for attention? (which would essentially mean she lied but I thought lying was against the Family code, where honor and truth were supposedly revered). Or is there more to it? There really wasn't a Family by 1975 or so I thought.

Sorry Monk, I don't find it odd. Sandy also said Charlie brought that bird back to life yadda yadda..so I really don't take what she says as anything but amusing because who knows what goes/went on in her head.
Must respect though for you, just disagree with that statements importance.
I hear ya cats, I'm just wondering about ulterior motives for making a statement like that (other than attention and to scare people). But I'm probably looking too deeply at something that doesn't have depth.
