Restless Souls
It is finally coming. I got to read an early draft of this amazing book a while ago. It is finally coming.
This book should be a VERY good read. I think to finally read a book that is written by Sharon's family, and we will finally know "more of the truth" than we have ever known.
How did Doris really feel about Roman? Why did Col Tate go looking for hippies? Why did Debra get cross-ways with her own family? Why did Sharon keep on with Jay? Was Sharon really going to divorce Roman after the baby came?
I know that Sharon wasn't taking drugs, wasn't into that "scene". I'm pretty sure that she was "sick and tired" of Gibby and Voytek living there. In fact...Doris said that in an interview. Sharon had already told Roman she wanted them out.
Maybe that's why Roman said after the murders that it might have had something to do with Voytek.
I think that Sharon was looking forward to being a mother, and as such, was "cleaning house".
In other words, she was trying to make her life as pristine as possible.
Probably didn't fit into Roman's plans.
Vera...or anyone else... I've asked this question many times, but do you know why the Tates waited 10 years to have a second child? I think that's an interesting aspect to this case.
Yes indeed, I hope all those things you point out are addressed. I'm hoping the Col, who says he has read an early draft, may comment as well about what we may get to read...
Yes indeed! I await anxiously await anything that may make this case come out of the cobwebs and that a good solid investigative journalist or two will take a go at it.

Maybe that will be answered in this book.

Hi, Katie,

Thanks for the heads up Col preorder done.
Any news on Manson Girls?
"two weeks."
Wasn't that two weeks ago?
Does anyone know if Ed Sanders is also releasing a book about Sharon?
I noticed a listing on Amazon "Sharon Tate: The Biography" by Ed Sanders-304 pages Da Capo Press Inc with a release date of October 22 2011.
I hadn't noticed that Ed Sanders was writing a biography of Sharon. Thanks! I hope that's a reality.
I'll buy that as well. I've read Sanders' The Family several times.
I know that a lot of people "pooh pooh" Sanders' book, but I find it a very interesting read, full of facts, and humor as well.
Starship...are you actually anticipating "The Manson Girls" release?
Just curious!! LOL.
