What is the use?
There isn't.
Might as well kill yourself.
No.
Really.

well
1- selective prosecution is NOT illegal- the courts do NOT have to prosecute all suspects- the Col has no idea where you got that but the Col knows the law
2- ummm SUSAN screwed up the immunity deal by repudiating her testimony. The prosecutor (who I hate you can tell from the blog) did not screw it up
she did

>>>I also believe she did it.<<<

oooh this is interesting, Col do you really believe she stabbed Sharon? I'm inclined to believe that she did not, but she did guard her and hold Sharon down so Tex could be more precise with his blows so in my mind she might as well have stabbed her.

Not to mention storming into Gibby and Sharon's bedrooms to round up the occupants at knifepoint.

36 divided by 7 lives = approximately 5 years per life.

Hmmmmm.

Yes, you can.

ok so Tex and Pat deserved to be vanquished to Hell on the spot by the witch sisters on Charmed. Susan and Leslie merely deserved the death penalty.

that said I think Leslie probably deserves parole. Susan should stay where she is.

Savage, who do you think in the great state of california should decide parole terms?

And if Susan didn't stab anyone other than VF in the legs, does that make her less guilty than Leslie who stabbed Rosemary?

agnostic monk said...

oh god susan sounds like a total stoner in these last two videos, like she's still tripping.

Mr Savage,
By what measure are you classing Pat as "murderer/mutilator" & Susan & Leslie as 'simply "Participants"'?
You can't seriously claim that Susan Atkins did not stab Voytek Frykowski. Tex finished the job. But he also finished Abigail Folger, Sharon & Jay, Steven Parent & Mr & Mrs LaBianca. He also went to town on Donald "Shorty" Shea (whose clothes were burned by Leslie Van Houten) but was never charged with his murder (in another case of "selective prosecution" Bruce Davis was charged & convicted).
Tex now says Susan never stabbed anyone but he also claims that Mary Brunner would have been there (Cielo Drive) instead of Linda Kasabian had she been available. And that seriously diminishes your rape theory.
It wasn't Pat who boasted "It felt so good, the first time I stabbed her" & claimed that she licked Sharon's blood from her fingers. Whoever was pulling Susan's strings was also pulling Pat's.
They both contributed to the "Sharing Our Stitches" blankets, quilts etc donations to 9/11 victims. Oprah acknowledged them (not personally, but "the women of CIW") on her show. Pat doesn't have a website to advertise her good prison deeds. But it's common knowledge that she has had no disciplinary issue in her 35 years at Corona. Arguably (I stress ARGUABLY so please don't get too uptight) she spared the life of William Garretson. You needn't have to bash her to state a case for Susan.
For the record, I'd rather see Susan Atkins free than, say, OJ Simpson or the woman who just got off 5 child homicides in Texas.

Thanks Yepyep.
Given that Susan Atkins declines media interviews after a bad experience (I think in 1986 with the Australian tabloid TV current affairs show, '60 Minutes') I would think her best course of action would be to revise & reissue her account of her life, first published back in 1977 as "Child of Satan, Child of GOD".
She is said to have always disliked that title. As the book's co-author (Moral Majority, Reaganite scribe Bob Slosser) is now deceased she has an opportunity not only to retitle it but also correct some of the content she may not have been so comfortable with.
Mr Savage, as her friend, might suggest to her that shedding new or firmer views on motives may be of benefit.
Personally, I don't believe the three women in prison or Kasabian had any role in the planning of the murders. I don't believe Tex's claim that Mary was a would-be participant as her eyesight was so bad that she would have been useless at night (&, apparently, Charlie banned the wearing of glasses). But, anyway, to quote Susan from page 134 of the 1978 paperback edition of her bio - "But to the best of my understanding, the copycat plan was the primary motive behind the most horrible rampage of killing & human destruction in California history- the Tate-LaBianca murders".
She also claims that Manson's motive for the assault on Hinman was the theft of a $21,000 inheritance Gary had received. She never mentions the more commonly accepted biker drug burn explanation.
Also she claims to have lined up the move to new digs at George Spahn's ranch. I was under the impression that Sandy Good was the contact who arranged the Spahn Movie Ranch accomodation.

Of course selective prosecution is legal. Common sense tells us that it happens ALL THE TIME. Five people rob a bank but the coppers only have evidence against three. Do they prosecute no one? NO! They go after the people they can get.
Common sense Savage.
No rape ever happened.
Susan STABBED somebody who died. That makes her a murderer.
Common sense.

>>>Do you think that Mary would have stood guard outside the Tate residence?

Keep in mind that there were no guards at the LaBianca residence so i don't buy into that little theory.<<<

Savage I dont know why you're so hung up on the 'standing guard' thing. Kasabian was not standing guard in the commonly accepted meaning of that term. She was left outside by Tex because he knew upon seeing her reaction to Stephen Parent getting shot that she would not be useful to them inside.

The fact that there was no 'guard' at Labianca doesn't really mean anything.

Had Roman been there with Jay and Voyteck, they could have easily overpowered Tex and the 2 chicks from hell. It would have been a route.

VF WAS SO *UCKED UP ON DRUGS HE COULDNT HAVE DONE MUCH, HE WAS ON A 10 DAY DRUG TRIP, AND I DOUBT HE WAS CAPABLE OF RAPE WHILE DOPING IT UP. THATS WHY HE WAS ON SOFA AND ABBY IN BED.(ALONE)

Savage you seem to be operating under the assumption that slamming Linda (and everyone else involved, including some of the victims) somehow makes Susan look better.

I can assure you that it does not. You could make Linda out to be Eva Braun if you so desired and it still doesn't change who and what Susan was.

Col. - are you going to post the rest of this hearing?

Thanks!

Hello, Savage,

Pardon my ignorance of the details: When and where was leslie taken into custody. Was she at the Barker ranch? Was it her who was told the Linda K being raped by Frykowski story?
So was it her that told you?

If you see at the end of that tape...she has looks that are so disgusting, as if she is humored that she is center of attention/the star. If I were her, I would be ashamed to even THINK I deserved to be let out. She deserves to sit right where she is and be paroled, when the victims are paroled, which is NEVER.

I'm not clear - what prevented the defense from bringing up the drug use of the victims?

That's interesting how someone can on one hand be such a crybaby for poor little Susie Atkins, but not a tear for Voytek, who ended up stabbed to death - some of the wounds inflicted by poor little Susie.

I don't think Jay and Voytek were squeaky clean - also, Abigail had drugs in her system - Bug wrote about it in Helter Skelter. And about Jay's sexual proclivities.

Go ahead and write a letter to the parole board - don't forget to emphasize that she didn't actually kill anyone - you'll help keep Leslie right where she is. Thanks!
