Paul Watkins Interview 3

I almost feel bad for the guy he cannot hold a thought for more than an eyeblink. In part two when he started to babble about compulsions I really felt bad for him.
Now here he starts talking about the All White Album? Wot?
Anyway, Judas doesn't seem like he had a good life after his betrayal.
Then BOOM the show is just OVER.
Thank you for watching.

I wonder when Paul was diagnosed with leukemia. I'm wondering if he was already sick and possibly medicated when he made this appearance.

>>>And Monk, I think he wasn't looking all that hot, for living out in the sun, he sure looked pale, thin and confused..so I think he was sick and he knew it...<<<<

yeah this doesnt seem to me to be brain-fry from his hippie days. If that were the case I can't imagine he was very functional at all. In this interview he really appears to be heavily medicated. If he had already been diagnosed and was receiving treatment, he might have been on some strong medications.

I get the sense that he knows the things he wants to say and the points he wants to get across, but he's struggling to do it through a hazy layer of meds.

>>>hey cats, there's enough speculation about watkins and posten without insinuating that watkins "hooked up" with da bug.<<<

wait, Watkins and Vince Bugliosi were lovers? Well that sure adds an interesting twist to the proceedings, LOL.

I agree with Monk. I think it's the cancer. It may start off with leukemia but in my experience by the time you die, it is pretty well everywhere in the body. For all we know he could have been on a chemo treatment or pain killers when he did this show.

Thanks Col for the clip. You spoil us.

I find it incredibly tacky and insensitive that they have to keep showing Steve Parent's body lying in his car under a blanket waiting for the coroner to come and collect the body during the prologue. It would appear that no one was thinking when they chose the clips to use.

I think Watkins was just scared someone who actually read his book was gonna call up Maureen Reagan and ask something like, "Hey Paul, this is Wanda in Scottsdale! What was it like giving Charlie Manson a blowjob?"

"I think Watkins was just scared someone who actually read his book was gonna call up Maureen Reagan and ask something like, "Hey Paul, this is Wanda in Scottsdale! What was it like giving Charlie Manson a blowjob?""

That revelation was one of the most intense moments in the book.
