Ruth Ann Moorehouse Mania

Now some fool on Turner's board is going to try to convince everyone that they are Ruth Ann's offspring raised genetically in a hut or something. It's always got to be Ouisch because she was the youngest, the cutest, the wildest in the sac. Nelson had his imposter who was actually another board moderator Clark Ronson. There is that Raven clod. I remember Vincent Gallo, he of the ginormous penis in BROWN BUNNY once claimed Ruth Ann called him personally to be Charlie in an upcoming film.

Except.

NONE of them are Ruth Ann. Hell there was even some kid who got publicity claiming to be Ruth and Watkin's son.

I feel all biblical and doubting Thomas-like, but unless I can put my hand in the X in her forward she isn't Ruth Ann Moorehouse.

YES- the Col remains on Turner's board. Turner is in Bluefield West Virginia. I am preparing a case for his server so he can explain why they should allow him to promote a convicted mass killer. The guy is such an ass it really is funny to watch him dance like a windup monkey.

In other news- Rabbitt, a convicted pedophile, is now a member of the KTS group while the Col still is not permitted. I wonder how the douche known as OOgler will take his ramblings?

Carry on.

Pristash asked an inetresting question on another thread which bears repeating in a broader forum:

"The news did report in the days after that the body of a BP had been discovered in some park. Manson knew him only as Lotsapoppa and not his real name, so they assumed it was him indeed and his buddies dropped his body there."

Pri: "The news did report in the days after that the body of a BP had been discovered in some park. Manson knew him only as Lotsapoppa and not his real name, so they assumed it was him indeed and his buddies dropped his body there."

Which "news"? All I've seen (in Family, I believe) is that Tex -- and only Tex -- saw (or heard) a report on television. But I've never seen an actual documented report that a Panther was killed that week and dropped in a park.

From THE FAMILY, most recent edition, page 150:

Tex Watson recalls that the next day "a report came in on the news that the body of a Black Panther had been dumped near UCLA the night before. This made us a little uneasy, since we hadn't figured on getting involved with the Panthers."

My question: Did Tex deliberately "stir the pot" -- make the story up -- for reasons that he has never revealed? I checked the LA Times for the period Crowe was shot. There was no report of the Crowe shooting in the paper and certainly no report of a Panther's body being discovered ANYWHERE.

Do a Nexus search on the subject and you can see it for yourself. So what's the deal? Can some Good Christian put the question to Tex?

Col, where is the post you're referring to on the forum?
I'm posting to a Ruth Ann topic right now and all I see is someone wanting Manson's blood type cause they think he might have fathered Ruth Ann's daughter..

He couldn't have though cause Manson was in jail when she got pregnant...

Is that the topic you're referring too?

=)

Joe, I was going to suggest searching the LA Times, I'm glad you did. I don't have access to the microfilms where I am, but any library which carries the LA Times on microfilm may be a good place to start. I'm not sure if the online searches would have everything, and in all liklihood, an article about a body being dumped may have not warranted digitization (if that's a word).

I thought the Bug even mentioned the incicdent in HS, perhaps Heaven or someone else may know.

I posted this on the other thread too...it's from Tex's book:

We were still showing the money to Charlie when the phone rang. It was Luella and Big Crow, not surprisingly, raging mad. We'd already agreed that Charlie would handle this end of it, and I listened as he claimed that I'd left the Family several weeks before and that he didn't know anything about where I'd gone. It didn't sell. Charlie told us when he hung up that Big Crow said he knew I was at the ranch and if he didn't get back his money he was coming out with his boys and killing everyone at Spahn. Charlie believed him. He sent Sadie and me up into the hills with a sleeping bag and said he would deal with Crowe.

I heard the rest of what happened from T. J. the next day. He and Charlie drove into Hollywood to the apartment where Big Crow lived. Charlie took Randy Starr's .22 Buntline revolver with him and tucked it into the back of his pants. At a signal from him, T. J., who would be standing behind Charlie, was supposed to take the gun and kill the black man. But once they got inside, T. J. couldn't do it; he just stood behind Charlie, frozen. After a few minutes of verbal baiting back and forth, Charlie whipped out the pistol, pointed it at the towering black man and pulled the trigger.

Nothing happened but a click. Charlie tried again. Still just a click. Big Crow's white sidekicks started to snicker. Another click. Finally Crowe stood up, grinning: "You crazy! You come at me with an empty . . . ." Then the gun went off and Crowe went down, bleeding in the chest-dying, T. J. said. (The next thing Charlie did was turn the gun on one of the dudes who was wearing a fancy buckskin fringed jacket and demand he give it to him. When Manson was arrested months later at Barker Ranch on suspicion of "grand theft auto," he was wearing that buckskin jacket.)

At the ranch the next day, Charlie couldn't stop talking about how he "plugged blackie." We all assumed Crowe had died, especially when a report came on the news that the body of a Black Panther had been dumped near U.C.L.A. the night before. This made us a little uneasy, since we hadn't figured on getting involved with the Panthers, and Charlie got even more nervous when almost immediately it seemed that all kinds of blacks started showing up, renting horses. He was convinced they were Panther spies and he started posting armed guards at night and having us sleep scattered back in the hills. If we'd needed any more proof that Helter Skelter was coming down very soon, this was it-blackie was trying to get at the chosen ones.

Much later I learned that Bernard Crowe-who in fact never had anything to do with the Panthers-had not been killed, only wounded. His friends had taken him away and had lain low, fearful that if Charlie found out the Big Crow was still alive he might come after him again. He might have, but I doubt it, because very soon Charlie would have bigger fish to fry. Much bigger.

Yep, if a Panther had been murdered -- or just shot -- and his body dumped on UCLA's campus, it would have been reported in the LA Times.

It wasn't.

So, someone please ask Tex where he heard, saw, or read this "report."

Joe,

It's possible that a Black Panthers' body could have been found somewhere... Racism was pretty wild in California in 1969, so it could have been true..

If you do a Google seach of Black Panthers, California 1969. You get LOTS of stuff.. I hope it helps...

If you look at the LA Times in the summer of '69, there were stories about the Panthers as often as once or twice a week, but the only time Panthers were murdered in LA -- ironically, on the UCLA campus, two were killed, Jan. 17, 1969 -- it was a HUGE story. There were no other Panther murders in Los Angeles -- ever. So, if a Panther were killed -- or a wounded Panther body discovered -- it would have been another HUGE story. Such was the politics and the interest in the Panthers at the time.

Clearly, Tex just made the story up.

I dare say that if the body of a Black Panther was found, it would have made it into the papers.. Unless some murders in California don't make it into the papers. It would depend on how many murders there were at the time...

I tend to agree, Tex made it up..
Tex watching the news? I can't see Tex caring about world events....

I could be wrong though....

it's possible that Tex and whoever else got the news story wrong. Maybe they were totally stoned when they saw the reference on tv, but it's possible there was a body of a black panther or a suspected black panther found SOMEWHERE and they just thought they heard UCLA. Maybe it wasn't even in LA.

just sayin'.

Speaking of RuthAnn, highlanddave brought up and interesting point in the topic just below this one. Jess Bravin quotes Ouisch in "Speaky: The Life And Times of Lynette Alice Fromme"...

"Considering who was chosen for the assignment, Ouisch concluded that Charlie 'sent out the expendables' (Susan/Pat/Linda). It all happened so fast. 'When it got evil,' said Ouisch, 'it got evil like, boom!'"

Expendables? Geeze how rude! I can understand them considering Linda "expendable" because she was so new and they didn't know her very well yet and they already got $5k out of her. But Katie and Sadie were part of the original Family cast, and Tex didn't join up too far behind.

So why were they considered "expendable"? Was it because Sadie was batshit, Tex was an unstable troublemaker, and Katie was hairy (and therefore not very useful for enticing more men into the fold)?

It just seems odd that the people who were loyal enough to go and carry something like this out could be considered "expendable". If anything I'd imagine they'd be considered extremely valuable.

Ouisch wasnt the wildest in the sac (sack), she was one of the youngest (early teens) but you know this.

The real R A Moorehouse must be cringing.

And want to stay unouted.
