We'll Press Your Lawsuit While You Wait, And Starch It To Annoy Ya

This is comedy gold- Garretson actually thought it was an outrage that the sole surviving person with FIVE dead bodies on an estate might be suspected. This AFTER laying to the police about what he heard and how he knew people like Parent.

The American pasttime of suing people- nice behavior.

I'm glad it got tossed.

It is the American way. I'm glad it was tossed. Wish, W.G.could tell us the real story.

Was anything about these lawsuits by Garretson or against Bugliosi or even the charges against Bugliosi ever written about in the "Family" editions or any other books? I can see why the Bug would not put this stuff in his own book but it is curious if Sanders or someone else didn't. I have to finish the "Family"... I am taking a break to read Mr. Watkins' tome :)

More fascinating stuff. Thanks Col!

Thanks Col.

well that is very interesting because if it was in the Los Angeles Times etc. it's not like it wasn't known...

Maybe you should write your own book?

I am also glad it was tossed. However, I didn't know that the "blood on the lawn and walk led to the guest house." The article states that Cohen refuted this claim while Yager used this as probable cause for the arrest. I wonder who is telling the truth?

If I beleive what i was told , that Pat did walk out towards the guesthouse , walked back in main house and was behind a chair when she saw Tex and susan KILL sharon tate.
sharon was the last to die, so I imagine the whole place was bloody!
no doubt there were bloody footprints were out there.

Yes, I think you are right. I had considered that Patricia could have been responsible for the blood, if there was any, leading to the guest house. If there was blood near the guest house, it was not recorded on the blood maps that I have seen. (Not that the police are always competent or honest) I still wonder about Garretson, though. If he had a greater involvment or knowledge than we have been led to believe, why was he protected? Who were his connections?
More and more, I am becoming convinced that Bugliosi is just another player in a bigger cover up. The articles that the Col. has posted sure demolish his sainthood.

I think Garretson knew some of the people from the ranch.( and had met them at Sharons's home) Hes knows more than he is saying or will ever say.
