Katie Can Waitey

According to Bret's accurate site, Katie is thinking about skipping another parole hearing.

See, this is what LVH should try next time. I mean it.

"Hey guys. It finally hit me. I suck. I killed people. I don't deserve to mingle with free people. You are right. My remorse just hit me. I am staying."

I don't know, but it seems to me that THEN someone might say "Wow, she is seriously remorseful - let her out."

Col...You seem to have a lot of rage against LVH or CK , and I can only agree with you about their beyond words behavior almost 40 years ago, it seems to me that during that time they had the time to change and to speak their truth and show no fake emotions and truly understand what they did and apologize to the familly victims etc in some ways they do not lie.... And you are probably right they should not ask a parole board to be freed.... but then....... what about CM ?

Do you really think he is some kind of victim of his friends and the system ? true he did not have a fair trial but do you really think it's all about a TW drug related crazy stuff that got out of hand ? or some mysterious hidden motives that you might have some clues on ?

If it is the case, CM has been a victim of the Californian Justice system and should be rehabilitated in the face of the world !

If not , meaning he perfectictly knew in advance what his line of defense would be...I did not kill anybody etc...but I perfectly realised what I wanted ...meaning he is a perfect liar etc...then...sorry Col ...CM should also have skipped all parole hearings...

Just some thoughts, nothing personal.

Waiting to see what the Col has to say, of course, but I too think Manson was tried unfairly as well...fairly well railroaded through the system...but that doesn't mean he is innocent. Bugliosi couldn't make the real case against him, so he created one that ultimately worked. Now plenty of people will say, so what...if he is guilty who cares what the truth is...but the truth is all we used to be able to count on.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If you believe that the Manson Family murdered nine people in LA in 1969 because of the Book of Revelation and the fact that the Beatles jammed some song about a slide in an amusement park, you're sadly mistaken.

As Nicaragua has its political prisoners, as Pakistan has its political prisoners, as Darfur has its political murders, as Afghanistan, as Iraq, as Iran...

So then does Amerika, even as we congratulate ourselves in our smug superiority to our "Third World" counterparts.

Just a pleasant thought on a sunny Friday afternoon.
