Where Have You Gone ColScott, a Nation Turns Its Lonely Eyes to You

Wow.
Six whole weeks and not a single posting here on the only Official Blog in the case. I would have to check, but I think that's the longest we've had without something brilliant and astonishing to bring to you all.
Sure, I've been busy. It's hard out there for a pimp. And I don't make the rent money from typing to you all. Homey makes it the old fashioned way, one quarter at a time.
So I knew I was going to have to broach my reasoning here, and so I wondered what it actually was. And voila, it became clear.

The Col is frustrated.

I'm frustrated that in all the bullshit coverage of the bullshit 40th Anniversary the only new items to come out where that Linda went over to Parent's car and Linda demanded the immunity from prosecution. Interesting tidbits, but nothing new.

You mean after all this time NO ONE is willing to tell the truth? The closest we got to reality was when addled Larry King asked Linda the obvious question, "Why did you go the second night knowing what you know?" and Bug changed the subject.

That's all we get?

The Col is frustrated. He now believes there might be some new explosive information in Tom O'Neill's book. But when is it coming out? No one knows. The last Manson book didn't even come out in the US. Sure it wasn't good, but....

The Col is frustrated. Do we live our lives in easily digested fairy tale morsels? Is it possible that people like Mary, Bobby and others have forgotten what happened and now just remember "their" versions? Why does NOT A SINGLE media venue point out that the BUG demonstrated mentally disturbed behavior BEFORE and AFTER the TLB trials?

The Col is frustrated...the burden of running the Official Site is a hard one. All those You Tube videos deleted because JimNY Savage is a crybaby asswipe. That was a lot of work. Bret's site is up and down like a YO YO and hasn't been updated this quarter. Mark Turner's site is like People Magazine. Long forgotten idiots like Wheat IM and email the Col insanity and banality.

The Col is frustrated.

Hopefully this post means I have overcome the frustration and am BACK.

But it has not been easy days on this case. Tons of coverage with nothing to show for it. Depressing even.

Thank you for your interest.

Oh, my dear Col. We all feel your pain. Yet now is not the time to give up. The truth still needs to be told, as only you can do it.
The Bug on Larry King was quite disgusting. The fact that no ever challenges him on anything, EVER, it is enough to make one give up.
It is so disheartening that after 40 years, there are actually people out there who buy into the HS motive.
Yes, and LK was just a fragile flower child, an angel........
We missed you terribly.

Now that you are back, what do you think of Bruce Davis and his chance of getting out at his upcoming PBH?

Hi Col! You have been missed. I was hoping you were vacationing on a white sandy beach somewhere. Love the 'hard out here for a pimp' greeting...

Hi Colonel! Hi, everyone!

Tonight on Anderson Cooper on CNN (Wednesday 11/11/09) longtime friends and supporters of Charles will be interviewed on the occasion of his birthday.

Star and GrayWolf will be discussing ATWA, and there may be some new interview material from Charles as well. There isn't any telling about how it will be edited, so hope it is positive.

For those who don't have TV, or those who miss it, it will likely be on the internet soon. Star's last interview with CNN is still on their site.

Happy Veterans' Day to all of those who served our country.

Happy birthday to Charles!

I would love it if someone asked him someday on national TV about the milkman that he stalked, and about his affair. I hope someone has the cajones to do that someday. The same old "Manson was obsessed with violent death" crap needs to stop.

Larry King interview disapointing yes.. but pretty much expected. I'm not sure I can think of an interviewer these days that are even going to try to delve any deeper. I think Bugs story is the accepted one and no one questions it (mainstream media that is). The 2nd night has always bothered me too and I would have liked to hear an explanation from Linda. Also, watching her documentary still didn't sit right with me..leaving her child behind, knowing what she knew..Forget It! She may protray herself as a victim and most won't deny her that to some degree, but most NORMAL people will always try and save their child before saving themselves and not leave them behind. I would have liked to see that discussed further. I too am frustrated. Whatever the truth is, I would like at least to see some ownership. It's been 40 years there can be forgiveness. Come clean! Her criminality after '69was off the table as well I s'pose.
Thanks for the new post Col!

thanks for the new updates. I've been feeling frustrated about the case lately too. I was thinking maybe its just faded from the publics interest. Susan dies, maybe the worlds most well known female killer, and it seemed to come and go without anything new or major. Not even any comments from any of the other family members. Squeaky gets out of jail with barely a peep. When i first heard about this i though "this is huge!" and almost nothing. No interviews, photos, footage, nothing. Here in NY it was mentioned in tiny little articles burried in the papers. I don't know, i was just expecting something..anything. At least I know that we're all still here dying to know the real deal!
