Much Ado About Nothing

  • LAPD can have Manson-related tapes, judge rules

Manson follower Charles 'Tex' Watson waived attorney-client privilege over the decades-old taped conversations with his lawyer when he allowed them to be sold to a writer, judge rules.

  • Charles Manson follower allegedly tried to smuggle phone to killer
  • Gov. Brown blocks parole of Manson family follower Bruce Davis
  • Susan Atkins dies at 61; imprisoned Charles Manson follower
A federal judge has ruled that the Los Angeles Police Department can have 40-year-old taped conversations between one of Charles Manson's most fervent followers and his late attorney to see if they can help solve more murders.
U.S. District Court Judge Richard A. Schell ruled Sunday that Charles "Tex" Watson waived his right to attorney-client privilege when he allowed the lawyer to sell the tapes to an author who wrote a book about Watson, who was convicted of several murders.
LAPD robbery-homicide detectives are seeking the tapes because they believe that during the several hours of conversations, Watson "may have discussed additional unsolved murders committed by followers of Charles Manson."
Investigators believe the so-called Manson family may have been responsible for more than the nine murders they were convicted of four decades ago. Over the years, everyone from Manson himself to his prosecutors have said his followers were connected to more killings.
The judge's ruling affirms a bankruptcy judge's decision last year that the LAPD can have the tapes of Watson and attorney Bill Boyd, who died in 2009. The tapes were found when Boyd's old law firm filed for bankruptcy. Watson, however, appealed that ruling, claiming they were privileged.
Schell, however, said Watson's decision to sell the tapes to Chaplain Ray, Watson's coauthor of the 1978 book "Will You Die for Me? The Man Who Killed for Charles Manson Tells His Own Story" waived his attorney-client privilege. The judge also noted that Watson was by his own motion willing to allow police to hear the tapes but not take them.
LAPD Cmdr. Andrew Smith said the LAPD will send detectives to Texas to pick up the tapes once Watson's 30 days to appeal the decision expire.
"We are looking forward to getting these tapes and thoroughly analyzing their content," he said. "We owe it to the victims and their families to ensure every facet of the case is thoroughly and completely investigated."
Watson has denied the tapes will reveal any additional killings. He is serving a life sentence for killing actress Sharon Tate and four others.
Manson prosecutor Stephen Kay said Manson bragged about additional murders. Over the years, questions have persisted about a man's apparent suicide in England, the drowning of an attorney in Ventura County and whether bodies are buried at the California ranches the cult called home.
The murders for which the Manson family were convicted all occurred in the summer of 1969. In late July, Gary Hinman, 34, a musician, was stabbed to death. About a week later in early August, four Manson followers — Watson, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel and Linda Kasabian — made their way to the Benedict Canyon estate rented by Tate and her husband, director Roman Polanski. There they killed Tate, 26; Steven Parent, 18; Jay Sebring, 35; Voytek Frykowski, 32; and coffee heiress Abigail Folger, 25.
Later, Manson himself entered the Los Feliz home of Leno LaBianca, 44, owner of a small supermarket chain, and his 38-year-old wife, Rosemary, and tied them up. He left them to die at the hands of Watson, Krenwinkel and Leslie Van Houten, who wielded knives and forks from the LaBianca kitchen. Spahn Ranch hand Donald "Shorty" Shea was killed later and his body concealed on the ranch for years.
Schell's ruling came as a follower of Manson, Craig Carlisle Hammond, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of trying to smuggle a cellphone into Corcoran State Prison for the 78-year-old Manson, who has been caught twice before with a cellphone. Hammond was arrested on three charges and faces a court date next month.

Reflections

You know I was reading one of the recent articles, maybe one of the ones I posted ( not going to go back and look, doesn't matter) and they referred to Cielo Drive as a HOME INVASION. Now true this was 1969 and I am not sure when I first heard the term but it was more likely than not the 90s so this is retrofitting of course.

But what word do we normally hear after "Home Invasion"? ROBBERY, right? I never heard of a Home Invasion Race War Startup, have you?

It was a robbery or drug deal burn or both. There IS a meaning to it I know there is.

Here's an idea- Tex still has hope, it hasn't been crushed. Let's get Sequiera and tell him to make a deal. Prosecute him for Shorty Shea's murder. Clem and Bruce will gladly throw him under the bus and Orcette Hoyt can misremember shit for her testimony. The charges can stick. Then offer a trade- Bug is a goner soon, tell us what really was the reasoning behind all this. If so we give you a walk on Shorty.

Guy can't live without hope and this sure would crush it.

I'd say the same thing on Davis on Gaul but I don't think he'd do it.

Any takers?

Legal Technicalities

Judge Delays Release of Manson Tapes

Police believe tapes may reveal additional, unresolved slayings by the Manson Family

By
It's going to be a while longer, at best, before detectives will be able to listen to audio recordings that have gone unheard for more than four decades.
Los Angeles police are seeking the tapes in the belief they contain revelations of even more killings by the infamous Charles Manson murder cult.
Last month, a court order authorized LAPD to take possession of the recordings of former Manson follower and still-imprisoned murderer, Charles "Tex" Watson. The LAPD held off while Watson put together an appeal. Wednesday, Watson obtained a "stay" order stopping the release of the tapes while his appeal is heard.
The stay was issued by Federal District Judge Richard A. Schell.
"The court sees no harm in postponing a decision," wrote Schell, noting that decades have already elapsed.
For now, the tapes remain in the custody of a Texas bankruptcy trustee, who took responsibility for them after the 2009 death of Watson's original attorney, Bill Boyd. Boyd had made the recordings.
Watson is now at the Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, near Sacramento.
He's serving a life sentence for the home invasion Tate-LaBianca slayings that horrified Los Angeles in August 1969 and that were chronicled in the best-selling book, "Helter Skelter."
The five victims at a Benedict Canyon estate included actress and expectant mother Sharon Tate. The night after Tate was killed, Leno and Rosemary LaBianca were killed in their Los Feliz home.
A jury found the killings had been ordered by Manson, a Hippie-era convict turned cult leader who exerted control over his band of followers.
After the Tate-LaBianca killings, Manson and his followers fled to a ranch near Death Valley.
In the years since, suspicions have arisen that others were killed at the ranch and buried in unmarked graves, though a two-day investigation in 2008 failed to uncover any human remains.
Ordinarily, attorney-client privilege would preclude law enforcement from obtaining recordings attorney Boyd made of his client Watson.
But since Boyd's death, the LAPD became aware that Watson had signed a document waiving his attorney-client privilege.
Watson wanted Boyd to cooperate with a minister writing a book on Watson, and it's believed the minister, the late Rev. Ray Hoeksra, listened to at least some of the recordings.
The book, "Will You Die for Me,' did not disclose any additional murders.
In court filings, Watson's current attorney notes that a week before the LAPD first requested the recordings, Watson sent a letter to the bankruptcy trustee directing that his entire file be forwarded to his cousin.
"A waiver of the attorney-client privilege is not a waiver of property rights or privacy," wrote attorney Kelly Puls in his motion before the East Texas District Court. Puls further characterized the LAPD effort to obtain the recordings as an "unsubstantiated witch hunt."
In a previous filing signed by Watson, he stated the recordings do not contain information about other murders, but still opposed their release on the grounds that public disclosure could be upsetting to the families of the victims of the known murders.
Initially, Watson expressed willingness to let police listen to the recordings in the presence of a court monitor, but that offer no longer appears in filings by Puls since he was retained by Watson.
Puls further asserts that releasing the recordings could violate Watson's Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination.
But the key issue for the court to decide may be whether or not Watson completely waived his attorney-client privilege, or only a portion of it relating to the material that was made public in the book, and not what was left out.
"If this is still privileged ... LAPD may not be able to get it," said Stan Goldman, an attorney and professor who teaches courses on criminal law and evidence at Loyola Law School.
In Goldman's view, unless Watson can demonstrate that LAPD is merely on a "fishing expedition," the fifth amendment argument likely won't hold up, because there is no assertion that law enforcement coerced Watson to allow the recording.
If there's no privilege, "you can be forced to turn it over, if the government didn't force you to record it." Goldman said.
Watson's appeal names as the "Appellee" the bankruptcy trustee, Linda Payne, not the LAPD.
Schell wrote in his stay order that Payne should have an opportunity to submit a brief before he rules on Watson's appeal.
Whether the LAPD or the Los Angeles City Attorney will also file a brief has not been disclosed by police or city officials.

What's a Little Disbarment Among Friends?

So people ask me to explain legalities and while I am not a lawyer I would play one on TV. So let me help those of you who can't pay $500 an hour and explain.

1- How can something so clearly attorney/client privileged as tapes between a client and an attorney be given to the coppers?

There's nothing more sacred than the attorney/client privilege for a lawyer. You can get sued, disbarred and even arrested for violating this stuff. But here's the deal- it is an absolute. If there is a third party or it is waived once, the privilege is lost. For example, you call your attorney with you neighbor in the room listening. BAM, no privilege. In this case, Tex allowed the tapes to be used for his half assed Christian book. Once Reverend Ray heard them, there goes all privilege. Now he could argue that they were a confession and try the priest/penitent privilege. But 8 hours of confession, that you taped? Not likely- AND they weren't between Rev Ray and Tex either. So for decades it has become possession is 9/10 s of the law- the firm physically owned the tapes. But now the firm is bankrupt and the bankruptcy judge is all like "Hey who wants tapes?" and he expected money but instead got the cops saying "We do!". So Tex's opinions are actually completely irrelevant.

But the idea that there is new shit on there? Doubtful. Why would he bring shit up to lawyers and priests that he isn't being accused of?

2- Why can Orca and Orcette appear at Bruce Davis's Parole hearing?

Well if you read the article Orca is talking through her gills. They can use proxies from victim's relatives to attend but they cannot speak out at the hearing. The lovely Doris Tate fought hard to get the relatives of the victims a voice at these hearings. ORCA and Orcette are abusing this shit. Orcette is all " I am a victim too I had to live through the screams " and then she testifies about the wrong time of day and the wrong direction of Shorty's screams. Orca is all like "Hey Sharon Tate was my older sister?" AND? Bruce never met your fucking sister! It's like accusing him of shit he didn't do by their presences. Guy is fucked enough, thanks for your input.

3- How did Clem aka Adam Gabriel get his retarded ass out of the hoosegow?

The Man wanted something from Clem. They convicted his ass without a body. There was always the fear that Shea might come through the door after a mean ass bender. Then they all look stupid right? So Clem took Bobby's prison advice and said "Hey, Mista, I didn't cut his dumb ass all up you wanna see the body?" And so they agreed to let him out, like in the middle of the night with no one watching.

I am much more curious how he escaped being part of the TLB conspiracy charges- he was there the second night the entire time.

The inbred shall inherit the earth.

Tex's Babblings To be Heard By Overworked Cops

Judge declines to reverse order giving Manson follower tapes to police

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
  • A bankruptcy judge rejects a request by Charles "Tex" Watson
  • Watson wanted police to only listen to his personal tapes, not take possession of them
  • Los Angeles police believe the tapes might have clues about unsolved killings
  • In a letter to CNN, Watson says "there are no unsolved murder committed by the Manson Family"
(CNN) -- A federal bankruptcy judge in Texas on Wednesday rejected a request by imprisoned Charles Manson follower Charles D. "Tex" Watson not to turn over personal tape recordings to Los Angeles police.
Police want decades-old recordings between Watson and his attorney because authorities believe the tapes might provide new clues about unsolved killings involving followers of Manson, according to court documents.
Watson asked the judge to allow police to listen to all recordings in the presence of a court trustee or other designate but not take possession of them as the judge earlier ordered. The judge declined Watson's request to reconsider that order.

Manson tapes shed light on cold cases?
"To the extent Watson seeks a remedy regarding the LAPD's use of the recordings, or to prevent their release to the media, such matters are governed by nonbankruptcy law and can be addressed to a court of competent jurisdiction," Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Brenda T. Rhoades wrote in her ruling.
In the meantime, Los Angeles police plan to pick up the tapes on Friday, spokesman Cmdr. Andrew Smith told CNN.
In a new letter to CNN, Watson asserted that "there are no unsolved murders committed by the Manson Family."
The tapes are about eight hours of recordings between Watson and his attorney from 1969, Bill Boyd of McKinney, Texas, whose law firm is now a debtor in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the same state, court papers said.
According to court documents, Watson waived his attorney-client privilege to the tapes in 1976, and his attorney received partial payment for his legal fees when he gave a copy of the tapes to Chaplain Raymond G. Hoekstra, who subsequently wrote a book, "Will You Die for Me: The Man Who Killed for Charles Manson Tells His Own Story."
Watson wrote a June 5 letter to CNN: "There is nothing new on the tapes that was excluded from my book 'Will You Die For Me?' The book was co-authored to show delicate consideration when sharing the graphic details of the crime in order to show respect towards the families of the victims."
Watson, Manson and three others -- Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Leslie Van Houten -- were convicted of murder and other charges in a two-night rampage that left pregnant actress Sharon Tate and seven others dead, including Leno and Rosemary LaBianca.
The gruesome killings were chronicled in the best-seller "Helter Skelter," and in Wednesday's court ruling, the judge notes that "Watson expresses concern that the contents of the recordings may be hurtful to the families of his victims in the Tate-LaBianca murders."
In 2008, Watson wrote CNN that he was aware of no bodies buried in a remote Death Valley, California, site called Barker Ranch, the hideout for Manson and his family, when CNN did a report about a corpse-sniffing dog visiting the site.
In court filings last week, Watson requested "that the Tapes not be turned over to the LAPD, because they are not a creditor to my late attorney Bill Boyd, God rest his soul" and "because repercussions of the motion have not been fully considered by all parties concerned."
Added Watson in court documents: "... this case is high notoriety, with much media attention. For this reason, special consideration should be made with who takes possession of The Tapes, so they will not be misused for purposes unintended by the court and that could be hurtful to the families of the victims."
Watson, 66, was convicted of seven counts of first-degree murder and was denied parole for the 16th time in November. He will be considered again in 2016, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

Right Hand Man

SACRAMENTO (AP) – The self-described right-hand man of cult leader Charles Manson who was convicted of orchestrating a pair of notorious slayings 42 years ago has his latest parole hearing scheduled Wednesday

Charles "Tex" Watson, 65, has been denied parole 13 times but will try again. Four relatives of Watson's victims plan to ask that his parole be denied for killing actress Sharon Tate, who was eight months pregnant, and four others at her Beverly Hills home on Aug. 9, 1969. The next night, he helped kill grocery owners Leno and Rosemary LaBianca.

"There's no question these were some of the most horrific crimes in California history in terms of the brutality, the multiple stab wounds, the gunshots, the large number of victims over a two-day period," said Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Patrick Sequeira.

Watson's attorney, Cheryl Montgomery, did not return repeated telephone messages.

Watson married and divorced in prison and has four children from conjugal visits, but his family did not respond to a request for comment that was left through the website that promotes Watson's prison ministry, http://www.aboundinglove.org.

The hearing will be held at Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, 50 miles southeast of Sacramento.

The website says he was raised in Copeville, Texas, north of Dallas, and headed to California in 1967 after dropping out of college. A brief biographical sketch on the site said Watson believed Manson "offered utopia, but in reality, he had a destructive world view, which Charles ended up believing in and acting upon. His participation in the 1969 Manson murders is a part of history that he deeply regrets."

A book he wrote while in prison is titled, Manson's Right-Hand Man Speaks Out! In the past, Watson has argued that he is a changed man who has been a model prisoner and no longer is a danger to the public.

He did not attend his last parole hearing in 2006 but was portrayed in a psychiatric evaluation at the time as "a very devout fundamentalist Christian … a young, naive and gullible man (who) got into drugs and bizarre company without appreciating the deviance of the company he was keeping."

Anthony DiMaria, a nephew of victim Jay Sebring, planned to contest that view of Watson and other Manson disciples.

"They've often been portrayed as these victims of Manson, and they are killers. They're mass murderers," DiMaria said in a telephone interview before the hearing.

He planned to attend the hearing with his mother and sister.

Debra Tate also was expected to speak to the two-member panel of the California Board of Parole Hearings on behalf of her late sister, who at the time was married to film director Roman Polanski.

Watson was convicted in a separate trial after Manson and three female followers were found guilty of the seven murders. Their death sentences were commuted to life when the U.S. Supreme Court briefly outlawed the death penalty in 1972.

DiMaria said his mother has considered it her mission to speak out on behalf of her brother.

Orca Tate Dives for the Microphone Again

Here's an interesting fact one of the Debra worshippers can bring up next time they want to get their tongues up her voluminous buttcrack.

Debra Tate is not the designated victim's spokesperson for the Tate Family at Parole Hearings.

That's right. Not just anyone who says they are related to Sharon gets to show up and whine at Tex and Katie. Otherwise Rosie could bang on for an hour. The next of kin has to designate if they themselves are not coming who they want to speak there.

Up to this point, and after several grueling hours of Sea World training, Patrick Sequiera has become use to Orca. She says the right things and she claps for the tiny fish treats he gives her. Hell, he even let her speak at the Leslie hearing, although Leslie never even met old Sharon.

But while disinheriting Debra, Col. Tate, with one of his final breaths, made sure to stipulate who spoke at hearings for Sharon. And it was not his Oui photographed, mailman daughter.

The correct person has always chosen to let Orca have her say, although they have attended recent hearings themselves.

The Col hopes November 16th when Tex gets denied the CORRECT person speaks, and Orca gets sent back to the holding pen. Just maybe....

Five Years Ago to the Day

Five years ago today we asked about Carl/Karl Stubbs right HERE.

In the book FIVE TO DIE they imply that Katie was somehow involved in this murder. November 12, 1968 it SEEMS that the attack happened. Well before Tate LaBianca.

Now over on the Evil Liz blog, the freaky lawyer who is pretending to help Charlie implies that it is TEX who killed Stubbs.

It is necessary for us however, to touch on one issue that may be important for your considerations. The Prosecutor at the trial produced to the jury the so called theory of ‘helter skelter’ namely that the Applicant may not have told his co-defendants to murder anyone but in a kind of extra-terrestrial manner influenced their minds to murder. It is a fact that the co-defendant Tex Watson was the perpetrator of a number of the murders committed. There is however, now evidence from a California Police Officer that Tex Watson may well have committed murder some nine months prior to any of the killings which if correct would destroy the theory of the Prosecutor that the co-defendants murdered by the mind control of the Applicant!
Tex Watson was seen following a man named Karl Stubbs to his house and that man was later found dead on 9/15/1968 in Olancha, California. This the verbatim statement from the California Police Officer as below:
“I have another murder that I want to tell you about. The victim is an 80 year old man named Karl Stubbs who was killed November 15, 1968 in Olancha, Ca., almost a year before Tate/LaBianca/Hinman/Shea. A witness identified Tex Watson in 1970. There were also two unknown girls there when Karl was beaten. The murder was not followed up on. Why? Because Charlie was nowhere near Olancha then and it would show that Tex is the serial killer. There is no way the Bug could have convinced the jury that he had total mind control on everyone back in 1968!
I spoke to the witness that lived behind Karl. She told me that Karl crawled to her trailer and told her husband that there was a boy and two girls that came in his house demanding money. Every time the boy would kick him in the head the girls would laugh. The witness said that Karl was totally lucid but he could not see. He died hours later. A year later, Tex Watson confessed the Tate/LaBianca murders to Diane Lake while there were in Olancha. Olancha is the gateway to the Barker Ranch via Hwy 190.
The case was investigated by the California Department of Justice. Tom interviewed the investigator who said that the investigation "fell through the cracks". It was not until Tex was finally extradited from Texas, after everyone else was tried, that the clerk at the store recognized Tex on TV as one of the kids that followed Karl home from the store. It is unknown if this was ever reported to Law Enforcement.
To this day, DOJ will not do anything with this case. (I have talked with them). Why not?????
It would show that Tex was killing people almost a year before, independently on his own, as well as two of the girls. That would not support the Bug's Helter Mind Control/Helter Skelter theory.
Olancha is a very small town. Gas Station, Store and one restaurant. About 500 people scattered over many square miles on ranches. It was not local kids. The Hannum Ranch is in Olancha. David Hannum worked at the Spahn Ranch in 1969 and the family used his mother's ranch in Olancha to park a semi trailer full of supplies and use it as a base.”
Fascinating to me this guy. They are right of course in their assertions though they won't get anywhere. And he does leave it open that it could be Tex AND Katie.

People Are Strange

Look I'm all for whatever floats your boat. I always got freaked out by the homophobes who screamed that Steven Parent wasn't gay. Of course he was, and so what? And Abigail and Jay did a lot of coke. And Voytek and Gary dealt drugs. So the fuck what. None of that means they needed to end up as shish ka bob.

What I never got was the people who believed the Jesus Bullshit, the idea that the Bible was some sort of How to book. According to Christian philosophy, if Hitler said he was sorry with his dying breathe, he would be forgiven and let into Heaven. Screw that!

IF There is a God and that's a pretty damn big IF, he sure as shit isn't forgiving certain bastards no matter how damn sorry they are.

So I stumble across this photo on the web and it makes me want to vomit in my hanky. "I am the way and the light, whoever believes in me shall be saved." Umm, Tex boy- YOU STABBED a 9 months (basically) PREGNANT woman who couldn't defend herself OVER AND OVER. You don't speak to any real GOD, you false preacher. Any REAL God would have turned you into a pillar of dogshit years ago. If anything, your full, long life is testimony that there is no God, or if he is he is fucking Groucho Marx.

Let's Talk About Tex Baby!

Tex has spoken DEFINITIVELY!

In the 1990’s and early 2000s, the late Russell W. “Bill” Nelson wrote tabloid-like stories about former members of the Manson family. He led a search party to Barker Ranch on rumors of bodies made by a man named Larry Milton (MELTON, the PERVERTED PEDOPHILE), who claimed he had been a former Manson family member. No bodies were found, but he continued to stalk the families and children of former Manson family members like myself. His agenda was vengeance and to seek self-aggrandizement.

On March 16, 2008, in an article entitled, “Oak Ridge scientist help tests for bodies in Manson ranch”, Associated Press writer Juliana Barbassa stated: “Manson follower Susan Atkins boasted to her cell mate on November 1, 1969, that there were ‘three people out in the desert that they done in.’” It seems that Susan’s agenda was to boast in pride to her cell mate, but I agree with Debra Tate: “If there are bodies here,” she said at Barker ranch, “we need to find them and send them home.” I’d like to hear what Susan Atkins has to say today, about what she said in 1969? [I hear only through the media concerning former Manson family members.]

What is the agenda? Is it to write books for personal gain? Is it to hype the Manson murders in the press before parole hearings? Or, is it so families of possible victims can find closure? If it is the later, let’s dig with much skepticism. I know of no bodies

He mentions later on two members of the Family who remain devoted to Charlie. Squeaky and Sandy? Or who?

TexASS Tea

I've been getting a lot of feedback as to what really happened. It's kinda fascinating.

The most thought provoking (doesn't mean they are real)

-->Tex was dealing methamphetamines, cocaine, and other forms of "speed". Frykowski was his loyal customer. Leno LaBianca was a supplier. Which would make your DeLorean theory correct. Everyone else was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Frykowski owed money to Tex, who owed money to LaBianca.

--> The "Devil's business" is a reference to the motorcycle club.

--> Next night, Watson gets the bright idea to go kill the drug supplier, steal all the cocaine, and life will be merry and bright.

--> You are looking at the wrong connection- how well did Tex and Manson know ROMAN?

--> Have you considered that Joe Dornan actually WAS dealing with Tex and they expected HIM at the LaBianca house?

These are all thought provoking ideas. Some of them are breathtaking.

Still, riddle me the obvious...

Rather than THIS, Tex prefers a race war motive? Is he afraid STILL of something?

More discussion please.

----------
Angelos criticizes my world view of CM without reading previous posts. We have new members so maybe I need to summarize succinctly.

Charles Manson was a punkass loser. He was not a leader, a guru or the "Most Dangerous Man alive." He certainly did not organize or mesmerize anyone to commit murder. He should be mocked and laughed at for being a short, stupid, fuckwit. Instead he is held up as the embodiment of evil to make a treacherous DA look good. The real BAD guy is Tex Watson who fucking stabbed and killed seven strangers to death. Whatever the motive, HE is the devil, not CM.

Charles Denton Watson

In the comments, Pritash and others ask if I think Charlie Manson was responsible. Not did he get a fair trial and all- if he was responsible.

He was as responsible as Linda Kasabian. They both attended one of the nights of slaughter, both knew about it and did nothing, both didn't kill anyone.

It doesn't interest me to play semantics. Was Charlie responsible? I can state that he is convicted of nine murders and killed no one. Was Charlie responsible? I can say that the key is MOTIVE. Motive here is everything. BUG made up his motive. But what IS the motive? Will we ever know?

You want to know something people. I think the answer is with one man. Tex Watson.

Dig it.

The Charlie Manson who is in prison now is batshit crazy. He isn't the same guy anymore. Like the David Lynch who did ELEPHANT MAN isn't the same guy who did INLAND EMPIRE. So if you could visit Charlie and use a potion to make him tell you the truth about TLB I don't think he even knows it anymore.

But Tex does. He just ain't tellin'.

Here are Ten Questions for Tex Watson to honestly answer- before he even starts talking about TLB.

1- How many drug burns did you do with dealers BEFORE you burned Crowe?
2- How did you know Voytek Frykowski?
3- Were you and Sadie really speeding the Tate night?

I think he had done other burns. I think he knew Voytek. I think there was a burn there. I do not think he was speeding that night. He was a little bit too in control of things to be out of control if you follow me.

4- What did Charlie have on you besides peer pressure?
5- Did you know Leno LaBianca?
6- What was your relationship REALLY with Susan Atkins?

I think Charlie knew something that he could use against Tex, something huge, which made him a useful murderer. I think he knew Leno LaBianca and that Leno might have been trying a John DeLorean move in order to save the Gateway Markets. I think it is weird that Tex and Sadie are never linked in the literature but they are clearly the two most boodthirsty.

7- Tex, whatever happened to your girlfriend Rosina who was held captive by Crowe?
8- How well did you know Gary Hinman?
9- How well did you know Rudi Altobelli?

Rosina was there when Charlie shot Crowe- and then is never mentioned again. She must have been involved with Tex on the drug deals otherwise why capture her? Where did she go? If he's dealing drugs and burning people, well then that makes him the same as Gary Hinman. He definitely knew Gary. But how and why? Altobelli was in the Hollywood scene, and is the connection to Tate.

10- Where did you get that line " I am the Devil here to do the Devil's Business" from?

It is a great line. One for the ages. He is not a creative guy. What was that line supposed to signify?

Yes, the more I research the more this case becomes about drugs. I think cops were in on it. I think the motive is becoming more and more banal and the fairy tale fading away.

Anyway - what would YOU ask Tex?
