Daddy Come Home


I know Squeaky says in the revised Bravin Biography that Daddy never molested her and shit but does it really make sense? She seems to have had the same upbringing everybody on my Blueberry Lane street had and none of those people are infamous. Why did so many people who knew her as a teen THINK she was molested (and why did no one do anything? I know at the time silence was the norm but still)?

She leaves home very young (after Daddy lives with her, but according to her stops speaking to her). She replaces dad with Charlie and tries to recreate a nice home unit. Long after it is clear Charlie/Daddy is never getting out of the brig, she still remains loyal to Daddy. She screws George Spahn (Dad #2?) regularly to please Charlie which cannot have been that pleasant a task (fallen scrotum?) . I mean, it's clear that Daddy is the pivotal fixation in the woman's life.


Is THAT why she never wants to get out? Biological Daddy is dead and gone.

Replacement Daddy is never getting out of jail.

Daughter tries to kill (sort of) Daddy/President of country.

Am I stretching the metaphor?

    I personally don't believe Lynette was molested by her father..

    Usually when a young girl has been molested by a very close member of the family (if it was her father, it would be even worse) they have a lot of sexual hang up's that can haunt them the rest of their lives..

    Lynette seemed pretty free with her body..

    I think her father just totally avoided her.. Which is really sad..

    Squeaky does seem like an abused person to me. I think Squeaky's only way for approval was through sex. This, in her mind, was the only thing she had to offer.That may be why she has given everything up and lives as a walking corpse.

    She could have been molested, I don't know either way...

    But I think it's pretty clear she was starved for attention from the oposite sex.. Manson was never a good looking guy, so how he had all these girls clinging to him is a mystery to me.. Some of them were really pretty too...

    You'd theink they would have been more attracted to Bobby instead of Manson.

    Didn't Dennis Wilson pay a boat load of money to get the family free from VD?

    Why she choose the attempt on President Ford? It held serious ramifications and she felt guilty for being free. I don't think she really would have shot him, but I don't know. Heaven or Denise do you have any thoughts on this?

    I think she did it just to get herself arrested for something she knew would be serious.. She has always said that for as long as her "love" is in prison, she'll be in prison. So I think she did something she knew would carry a hefty price..

    If she wanted to shoot him, she easily could have. I think Lynette is a lot of things, but she's not a murderer.

    What's funny is, I remember the day that happened.. The news broke into whatever program I was watching to announce it. Course, I didn't know at the time who it was.. The pieces didn't fit together until years later.

    I'm still surprised that more of the women didn't follow Bobby instead of Manson.. Bobby was way better looking...

    That I really can't answer with any certainty... Manson was probably jealous of Bobby's good looks.. Probably jealous too of DeCarlo's big wanker lol

    I read where Manson used to send Paul Watkins out to recruit more girls.. Apparently, girls that didn't know Manson, wanted to keep it that way...

    I don't see the point of even trying to have any intelligent discussions here anymore. Too many cowards who seem to be afraid to post with their own ID.
