We Got Some LA TIMES Love
KTS peeps were asking about Ronnie Howard.
Here's the story from the LA TIMES.
Also we haven't had a story about the BUG being sued for lying and shit for a whole month.
Paul Fitzgerald sued Vincent over the book because it made him appear incompetent?
Did the defense need Vincent Bugliosi to appear incompetent? Didn't they do a fine job of that on their own by throwing in the towel once the People rested?
Just like Ronnie Howard, anyone who opened their mouth against Susan deserves violent death or something. Everyone from Linda to Charlie to Tex to Pat to Susan's brother to Former California Governor Gray Davis is responsible for where Susan is, everyone EXCEPT Susan.
And partly because it sounds like Savage just enjoys fantasizing about beating defenseless women with metal pipes.
Savage which scores are you referring to? If Susan is truly rehabilitated and takes responsibility for her actions, the idea of scores to be settled doesn't factor in. She should harbor no ill will towards the late Ronnie Howard or towards Linda. The outlaw mentality of settling scores, so prevalent in Susan's wild days, should be in the past.

Honestly who really cares what Ronnie Howards intentions were in flipping on Susan? Most likely it was some combination of disgust at Susan's story (because as someone else pointed out Ronnie was a hooker not a cold-blooded killer) combined with some idea of what she might personally get out of it (charges dropped, reward money, etc.).
So what? That doesn't mean she deserved a metal pipe to the head in Savage's twisted revenge fantasy.

First I would like to say thank you to the Cat for the nice complement. The one thing that I really want to be known for is a man that loves his family.
Susan Atkins was telling the story of being responsible for killing Sharon Tate and Gary Hinman long before they were arrested for murder. Right? Then how is it that Charlie was controlling what she was saying. I mean, she now says the only reason she took credit for the murders was because Charlie told her to do so. Why would he tell her to do that before the were even busted?? I believe she did stab Sharon Tate. Pat K. has even stated that she saw her stabbing Sharon. God this is so stupid. Even if some producer or whomever over at Court TV somehow became interested in the Kasabian rumor based on things read on these forums and blogs it'll be a dead-end unless Linda herself confirms it. There is absolutely no way of proving it otherwise. Does Court TV think they're getting a tell-all interview with Linda? Tell them not to hold their breath.
Is Court TV in the business of promoting conspiracy theories that cannot be proven? If they try to run with the story are they prepared for the million dollar lawsuit from Kasabian's family for dragging them through the mud again so many years after the trial ended?

As for the rape theory and Leslie's parole hearing. That's about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Leslie had nothing to do with the Tate murders. She was never tried nor convicted for them. The death of Voyteck has no bearing on her hearings.
If Linda had been raped and that was a motive for the murders, it would have come out a long time ago.
So unless you have more proof, please put up or shut up.
Col Scott, next time you poke your head in, maybe you should consider setting this blog up so that only approved people can post. Once people have to start going thru you (you can then monitor IP addresses) then the riff raff will be cleared out..

Thanks for asking, our vacation was awesome. We went to Oahu, Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii. The Big Island was by far my favorite. We hiked to the volcano, we hiked in a tropical rain forest and went snorkling. Great time!

I'm pretty sure that picture was taken sometime before the trial when they were being arraigned. Patricia was still in Alabama. Linda had just returned from New Hampshire, heavily pregnant with her son, and was not yet designated a prosecution witness, though Gary Fleishman was campaigning for her immunity deal. Linda did have reason to fear them, however, because she had fled the ranch a few months earlier. I can't imagine that sat well with any of the loyal members.
Once she became a witness, there was no way in hell any of the defendants were getting within 10 feet of her or any other witness outside the courtroom. I can imagine Sadie would have absolutely RELISHED the idea of killing another pregnant woman, especially one who had turned on the Family (but that's just conjecture).

How in God's name would pumping the rumor, on an internet blog, that Linda Kasabian was raped by Woytek Frykowski ever have any effect on Leslie Van Houten's parole proceedings?

God this is so stupid. Even if some producer or whomever over at Court TV somehow became interested in the Kasabian rumor based on things read on these forums and blogs it'll be a dead-end unless Linda herself confirms it. There is absolutely no way of proving it otherwise. Does Court TV think they're getting a tell-all interview with Linda? Tell them not to hold their breath.
Is Court TV in the business of promoting conspiracy theories that cannot be proven? If they try to run with the story are they prepared for the million dollar lawsuit from Kasabian's family for dragging them through the mud again so many years after the trial ended?
No, I didn't think so. This is just dumb.

Please tell me you have more proof than this.
As for the rape theory and Leslie's parole hearing. That's about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Leslie had nothing to do with the Tate murders. She was never tried nor convicted for them. The death of Voyteck has no bearing on her hearings.
If Linda had been raped and that was a motive for the murders, it would have come out a long time ago.
So unless you have more proof, please put up or shut up.

ReplyDeleteCol Scott, next time you poke your head in, maybe you should consider setting this blog up so that only approved people can post. Once people have to start going thru you (you can then monitor IP addresses) then the riff raff will be cleared out..

ReplyDeleteThanks for asking, our vacation was awesome. We went to Oahu, Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii. The Big Island was by far my favorite. We hiked to the volcano, we hiked in a tropical rain forest and went snorkling. Great time!

I just wonder what the three of them were thinking about each other that day. Susan's the one who ratted on them all. Leslie did a little ratting too, actually. So were they hating Susan? Did they say anything to each other while being walked to the courtroom for their araignments?

I'm pretty sure that picture was taken sometime before the trial when they were being arraigned. Patricia was still in Alabama. Linda had just returned from New Hampshire, heavily pregnant with her son, and was not yet designated a prosecution witness, though Gary Fleishman was campaigning for her immunity deal. Linda did have reason to fear them, however, because she had fled the ranch a few months earlier. I can't imagine that sat well with any of the loyal members.
Once she became a witness, there was no way in hell any of the defendants were getting within 10 feet of her or any other witness outside the courtroom. I can imagine Sadie would have absolutely RELISHED the idea of killing another pregnant woman, especially one who had turned on the Family (but that's just conjecture).
