If Bobby's original sentence of death had been carried out, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I'd like to think that if I was tortured for 3 days and had my ear sliced off, then was murdered and left in my apartment to rot like a dead cow, that my life and hideous death would be worth more than 40 years..

What price tag can you put on someone else's pain and suffering? Gary wasn't an upstanding member of the community, he was a drug dealer, yes sir he was, but he was a human being too.. He had a chance to kill Bobby during those 3 long days and he didn't do it..

But let's be real, Gary was a drug dealer, but so was Bobby. Hell, everyone back then was either dealing or buying drugs.. It was 1969, drugs were a big part of the era...

Now, don't misunderstand me, I'm not opposed to Bobby being released if that's what the board decides. But apparently they feel that Gary's life was worth more than 40 years...Heavenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07391086783053721287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14352935.post-1139286583866042762006-02-06T20:29:00.000-08:002006-02-06T20:29:00.000-08:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.60skidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07064453788078165526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14352935.post-1139259215809312142006-02-06T12:53:00.000-08:002006-02-06T12:53:00.000-08:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.60skidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07064453788078165526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14352935.post-1139166656792633402006-02-05T11:10:00.000-08:002006-02-05T11:10:00.000-08:00i agree with u col bobby should get parolei agree with u col bobby should get paroleWHITE RABBITThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14819724890257393457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14352935.post-1139163367616836592006-02-05T10:16:00.000-08:002006-02-05T10:16:00.000-08:00This sure highlights the governments two-faced way...This sure highlights the governments two-faced ways of dealing with issues. If the politicans are left to decide a issue as this the law will go by the wayside.
I guess if the victim is famous or tied to one who is the level of punishment goes up.
Hang tough Bobby!zoomjawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305670048031550927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14352935.post-1139160526487621372006-02-05T09:28:00.000-08:002006-02-05T09:28:00.000-08:00Bobby has earned his parole under the law.Bobby has earned his parole under the law.ColScotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04198505620789173534noreply@blogger.com
